The location was clean and the outside equipment/trucks were parked orderly with tons of room to move. The person helping us was kind and helpful. They would have gotten 5 stars; however, it is what happened after we left that is frustrating. Two hours later (too busy to notice an email) I received another “move” using the same car hauler, same contract number but to a completely different state one of which I have never been to. When I was dropping off the equipment at the correct location it showed it was dropped off in a north eastern state but I was still in a southern state (don’t want to get to detailed in a public review). They had to call corporate and after some time they simply said all was good with no explanation. I did get the hundreds of dollars refunded to me but this appears to be some sort of scam at this TN location. Until I get proven otherwise this seems like insider at that location scamming people! Let’s look at the facts, there is no way the U-Haul system would typically let you take 1 trailer (exact same license plate) to 2 different states and a change happening without me asking for it. Be careful and check your emails and credit card statements!!!!
Great outstanding customer service. I truly can say both gentlemen’s there kept there composure when I was having a little hard time accepting the promissory note for not having a dolly on my truck when it wasn’t assigned to me. I really want to commend their professionalism and politeness on the situation. Hands-down, best U-Haul drop off I have ever had.
In the past two years, I have rented a 10' U-Haul box truck in Flowery Branch GA and returned it to the New Paul Road location in LaVergne. I have rented another 10' ft U-Haul box truck from this location for one-day local use and lastly, I rented yet another 10' ft U-Haul box truck from this location in Lavergne and returned it to Flowery Branch, GA. I also had a storage unit at this LaVergne facility for 6 months. The climate-controlled units are very nice and clean and well-maintained. Our stuff was in the same condition when we picked it up as it was when we left it. We had no issues with the trucks and none whatsoever with the storage. The employees have been helpful, professional and pleasant. I highly recommend!
No improvement needed. Staff was very helpful and the process to rent the trailer was quick and easy. The young lady who helped me on check out should be commended for going above and beyond her duties to help me hook up the trailer. I highly recommend visiting this location. No lines, clean, organized and everyone of the staff members are very helpful. Worth the extra drive to rent equipment.
I wish I could give negative stars. U-Haul’s Moving Help company is a complete scam. DO NOT book Let’s Go Moving (local Nashville moving company) through Moving Help. They said they did not need our provided ratchet straps to secure our belongings. As a result, the vast majority of our things were heavily damaged, some irreparable. We purchased the best insurance through Uhaul; however, that apparently only covers the truck itself and not our belongings. Let’s Go Moving has been completely radio silent. The only way to resolve this is to take them to small claims court in Nashville when we have since moved out of state. A complete PITA and Uhaul has been worthless and has not taken any ownership with the company they partner with and suggested on their website. Horrible experience. Lesson learned. Never again.
