If you value your belongings, do not use this company. The workers were very friendly and helpful; however, they were 4 hours late due to a “flat tire”. There was damage to beds, nightstands, bookshelves etc. After several text messages (4), two phone calls and a message left, within the span of a week, I have yet to hear from the owners. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Terrible, terrible management. Not a way to treat your customers. Beware! Yes, this was 100% your company, I would be more than happy to post the text and phone thread with YOUR phone number. This all could have been handled differently had you returned my calls and texts. Add dishonesty to my list of complaints.

The owners are extremely easy to deal with and the employees are really friendly and work well together. They are careful with everything they touch and they are also quick. The initial contact was with one of the owners and was a great start to a customer/business relationship. Moving day started with the movers showing up on time and ready to work. The load up was quick and they obviously were taking good care of our belongings. Delivery was just as well done. While it's nice these days to receive good service, these were the of the nicest guys as well. Pleasant experience and I can't recommend these guys for your moving needs enough.

I live south of Lake Charles, LA about 20 miles from the Gulf. After a hard hit from Hurricane Laura in August of 2020, local movers needed to get salvageable furniture from severely damaged homes were soon booked up. My daughter-in-law called A & L Movers. What a blessing they were to me, needing help and having recently lost my husband. They came with all the necessary moving equipment and went into action! They were so professional, courteous & skilled at what they do—carrying heavy items from my two-story home and loading them onto their company truck with its own lift. They worked hard and fast! Not only did they save my furniture, but also my peace of mind at the time. Now, after months of reconstruction , it’s move-in time! My first experience with A & L was so good, they were the first company I called. I can honestly say, they out-did themselves. The workers are high quality guys whom I felt truly wanted us to be pleased. They’re either trained well or just of good character, but in my opinion, either speaks well of a company.

This is a schemer campaign against two of the hardest working, most honest guys I know who built A&L from nothing. If you’re really looking for a great moving company, then look no further. A&L Movers has moved my family and I on four different occasions. They are the most professional, respectful and punctual moving company I’ve ever worked with. Their pricing was straight forward and honest and at the end of the move, the pricing was exactly what was agreed upon in the beginning. Their movers were extremely careful and professional and treated our belongings as if they were their own. I’d recommend A&L any day for any move. Don’t let the comments of folks who have never experienced their services influence your decision on moving your entire life. These are good, hardworking, and honest men doing a honorable job.
