We had a complicated move with multiple stops and narrow staircases, but the crew from Green Mountain Movers did an exceptional job! Fernando, Mike, Brett and Alex were very professional, friendly and hard-working. They communicated well with each other and with us. They were all very respectful of each other and of our property. We highly recommend them, and we would definitely use them again!
Green Mountain Movers were awesome! After having so many beautiful sunny days, moving day gave us 5 inches of snow. Everything arrived safely and under budget! Highly recommend!
The biggest problem we had was reliability. It lightly snowed the night before we were supposed to move. I get a call from the mover the morning of the move and he said “yeah due to the road conditions we should cancel today” and I said “totally fine for this morning, but it will for sure be clear by the middle of the day/afternoon. Can we just wait a few hours?” He said sure, he would call me between 11-12. Well clearly they just didn’t want to do the move that day, because the roads were 100% clear by 11am, but instead of waiting until 11 to call me, he called me at 10am and didn’t ask, just told me “we are cancelling and will do it on Sunday” the attached pic is from what the road that does NOT receive plowing services looked like at 11am. So this was EXTREMELY stressful for us because we only had one weekend to move, so we ended up doing loads back and forth in our car all day by ourselves. Both ended up sick. We all knew we could have done the move at 11 or anytime after that instead of 10am. So a one hour difference.- The quote they gave us said 2 people to come pack up one day, then 3 people to come and move everything on Saturday. Well on Saturday (ended up being Sunday) the third guy didn’t show up! So it was just the two of them, which would be fine except they didn’t fully disassemble everything the day before so one guy for hours was disassembling, then the other guy couldn’t move any of the heavy stuff without help. He was doing tiny loads out to the car waiting. If the third guy had come (2 was NOT what we were quoted for) then the two of them could have had almost everything moved into the truck and it would have taken much less time.The movers however I should say were very nice, and they did a good job! None of our stuff was broken, the guys were very friendly and we liked them. Every issue that we have I would blame on management, not the movers. It should be managements responsibility to ensure the movers come when they have agreed to send them, and that the right number of movers that we agreed to are there.Overall we would not recommend or use green mountain movers again, but the owner did reach out and apologize for the issues we faced so that is more than can say about a lot of companies. I expect that the management would do better in similar situations moving forward.
Green Mountain Movers was amazing! The whole process was seamless and very professional. Aaron was very communicative and his employees were as well. Fernando and Nate were outstanding and moved us in quickly and efficiently. They both worked extremely hard at moving all of our stuff into our apartment. They were so friendly and kind. Green Mountain Movers were fantastic to work with! Aaron, the owner, was super flexible and willing to change dates if needed since I was moving from out of state. Sergio and Mike helped move all my large pieces of furniture up to my 3rd floor apartment and the stairs were not easy- lots of switch backs. Everyone was super friendly as well. I would highly recommend this business for any moving! I will definitely use them again if needed.
