Reviews frequently mention professional, friendly crews who work quickly while taking good care of belongings. Several customers call out smooth booking and helpful communication. Pricing is often described as competitive. A small number of reviews note occasional staffing or equipment hiccups, but most feedback trends positive with consistent praise for careful loading and apartment moves.

Jae, Kevin and their crew were professional and did a great job. They took good care of our belongings and the truck was packed well. The price was very competitive. I recommend them.

Friendly staff and easy to set up an appointment to move. Kevin and Devon were both great help, especially moving our mattress and desks from our third-floor, no elevator apartment. Thanks so much, guys!

Mr. Big Stuff is fast, professional, hard-working, and made my move stress free. I will absolutely be a repeat customer if I need to move again. Devon and Kevin were phenomenal!!

We were excited to work with Mr. Big Stuff after seeing all of the positive reviews. Honestly, I have no idea how they are getting these reviews because we had absolutely the worst experience with the movers.
Unfortunately, only two crew members showed up because the other ones called in sick. They had minimal moving equipment and the entire time the workers told us how bad their boss was. We asked them to take extra care when handling our delicate antique glass-top furniture. The movers negligently stepped on the glass top and shattered it. They also dinged up all of our furniture and damaged all of the walls of our home. They attempted to move our piano without the proper equipment and damaged the piano and left deep gouges across our new wood floors.
We had been struggling to find a resolution to the damage they caused for the last six months. They sent out one individual to try to buff out the floor, which didn't improve anything. They ordered a replacement piece of glass and it was measured incorrectly and couldn't be useable. This individual was fired and texted me that it was a horrible place to work.
They sent out another individual to try to fix things and he promised that everything would be resolved. Shortly afterwards, the individual texted me, saying that he also was no longer working for the company because of its toxic management and said that he would not deliver the glass unless we paid him a ransom.
The owner of the company was unwilling to rectify anything but said that he would order the glass one more time. We provided accurate measurements for the glass but, again, it was ordered with the wrong dimensions! Even though this was their mistake again, we were told that they would not fix the situation.
The owner insists that he has done more than he needed to but we are still left with a damaged floor, damaged walls, damaged piano, and an unable piece of glass that was cut incorrectly for the third time.
We will never work with them again and don't recommend them to anyone.

The owner's response to my review is false and again reflects the bullying tactics of this company.
The glass was broken by the two movers and they admitted this to us during the move.
Also, we never threatened to do a bad review during the process but wrote this review after the owner told us that he would not remedy our issue any further. Ironic that he would mention extortion, because that's exactly what they were doing to us. They would not deliver our glass without demanding that we pay an additional fee since the one mover was already fired at this point.
To clarify, we were not extending the scope of our requests. We provided measurements for the replacement glass and he kept ordering it in the wrong size.
In the end, they were negligent on many levels during the move, we are being bullied and gaslit, and we still have a damaged house and furniture.

One of the best moving companies I've worked with in the Great Lansing Area. I worked with Kevin, Stephen, and Davon who were all extremely professional and excellent to work with. Not only did they take great care of my stuff, but they quick and made this affordable. I would highly recommend working with them for a move in this area and will certainly work with them again in the future.
