I contacted Two Men and a Truck for my first experience with a moving company. The customer service to set up my appointment was helpful and willing to answer my questions. The 2 men that moved our furniture were friendly, efficient and did a great job.I definitely recommend!
Great service at a competitive price. I had a safe I ordered and needed moved from the garage and into the house, and called around to a few different businesses. Two Men and a Truck were both competitively priced and had good availability. Based on previous reviews, I went ahead and booked.Crew not only communicated well and showed up when they said they would, but were very professional and efficient with the move. I've moved multiple times across the country for work as well as multiple local moves in my lifetime, and this was absolutely in the top 3 for professionalism as well as value. Will absolutely be using them again in the future.
Two Men and a Truck was great. They picked up my couch from Value city on time and they brought it to my apartment. The 2 gentlemen that did the move were polite and efficient. My only thing is the price was a little high, but I think that is how it is for hiring a moving company. You don’t get the deposit back, but they deduct it from the total you pay at the end which was kind of confusing. But still I would use them again.
I have used two men and a truck many times. This last time has been terrible. They have damaged so much. LG 65’ TV, solid wood dresser and my deceased mother‘s lamp. My dresser, which they said they fixed. They did not. I added some pictures. I can’t add a picture of my mother‘s lamp because they didn’t let me see it.I moved into a place. They did not help me unpack, which they did last time and they informed me I had to pay for something like that, which would’ve been fine. They left everything wrapped in tight plastic. I had them come back to unwrap the dressers and get the tight plastic off the large items.I just set up the TV and now the television is broke. They broke my deceased, mother‘s lamp and offered me $56 to replace it.I trusted this company and when I used them two years ago they were awesome, but they have really went downhill.
This was the absolute worst experience I had ever had with a company. We hired them in March to help us move an hour and a half away. Everything was set, the deductible paid, but on the day of the move everything went south. They didn't show up until after 11am. Then the three "movers" took forever. One, I'm pretty sure was high as a kite, the second had a slipped disc (not sure why he was even dispatched for a job) and the last was the only one who was courteous and did any work. After 4 hours and so many "breaks" I lost count, they had only moved my living room and one and a half bedrooms. Now mind you, the house we were moving out of was only 1400 sqft no extraordinary furniture. The worker that was high asked if we were moving into another single story house and when I told him that it was a two story, he acted like he didn't want to be there anymore and basically shut down.I called corporate because it was taking so long and we needed to be out of the house. I explained what was happening and they told me they would contact the manager of the Zanesville, Ohio franchise. They called me back and their whole demeaner had changed. It was as if I was the bad guy for wanting them to do their job. The manager came to my house and was very unprofessional. My husband was at work, so it was myself, two daughters, mother and mother-in-law. In all my years working with companies I have never been treated the way I was treated by this "manager". When he told me that they didn't have enough room in the truck for everything, I stood up and told him to reload it to make everything fit. The workers did a terrible job arranging things in the truck. The one that was actually doing all the work told us that they had never loaded a truck before, only unloaded it. The manager then got in my face and told me he was terminating the contract. At this point my mother, a 5'2" 64 year old retired teacher, got in his face and told him no. The little man actually called the police! And when they asked him if she touched him he said no, they laughed and hung up.After that the workers unloaded the truck, which they were going to put everything back in the rooms, but at the direction of my mother-in-law put everything in my single car garage. Amazingly what wouldn't fit in the big moving truck all fit in the garage and they did it all within an hour!A 13 and 16 y.o. girl, 38 and 64 y.o. woman and a 40 y.o. man did what 4 "professional" movers couldn't do. We loaded in 3 hours and unloaded an entire house of stuff in a couple hours. And it all fit in a 26 foot Uhaul. Saved ourselves over 3k and the hassle of dealing with this "company". When I called corporate back I insisted they refund the deductible, which they did. The photo is after we had loaded the Uhaul ourselves.Would not recommend at all!
