Absolute trash. If you value your money, time, and personal belongings, do not use this company. We were forced to use them twice due to a military move, and these people clearly do not know what they are doing. They were completely disorganized and began unloading our belongings into random areas of our house.Not only that, but they lost over half of our items while they were literally sitting in the company’s storage. Over 40 boxes were lost, given to another family, or, based on the circumstances, possibly stolen by the movers. These were precious, sentimental family mementos that they simply gave away and never bothered to follow up about.They did not contact us at all regarding the situation. I had to repeatedly call them just to get any update on their so-called “investigation.” Losing over 40 boxes is inexcusable — that is essentially an entire truckload of belongings.
Bad place, they don't follow the queue, they take money for quick unloading, and they put you on the dock and don't unload you. The movers do business on the side and the manager is busy with other things. They don't pay for waiting. $2 per mile and that's it. Arrived at 9 a.m. unloaded at 3 p.m. Fraud consists in putting another truck next to you from which they took money, then one pallet is taken out of your trailer and 4 pallets from the other. Loaded on the shipment in 20 minutes, and shipped 2 hours and waiting 4 hours.
We had a great experience with your company! Our Representative, Ryan was great, he explained everything to us before signing our contract. Chrissy contacted us for confirmation of move and did a great followup after the move was competed. We had two gentlemen as our team movers, Larry and Jackson. You couldn't have asked for a better team. Super nice guys. They moved all of the furniture around in our home. They went over and above the call of duty! I would highly recommend Johnson Storage & Moving Kansas City to do your next move be it local or long distance. Thanks again for a great job!
I do not recommend this moving company! They ruined a ton of our furniture and took 6.5 hours to move a two bed apartment even though the kitchen and lots of miscellaneous items were already moved. We ended ip having to keep our items in their parking lot all night until they could get us a different crew. I refused to let crew number one enter my home after watching them drop furniture and drag it across concrete! They only covered two mattresses the rest was just placed in a dirty truck and some against our dirty grill in the truck!Johnson After lots of headaches and back and forth foolishness (on their part) they gave us two options. First option is give us a full refund for the moving expenses and a nonsense payment of $807.00 for the damage. Second option is to change our policy to full value loss, have an insurance adjuster come out, not refund us for the move, and they give us what the insurance adjuster sees fit for our loss. We chose option one as I have no trust in these people anymore and am sick of living with filthy broken furniture. Had they let us know about the insurance and options before the move we would have made sure it was full value loss. Below are some pictures to give you an idea of how awful these people were! I’m still sick and not really able to understand how a company can be rhis awful to its customers. Take more pride in your work!!
If you want fast, friendly and professional movers Johnson United is who you need. They were there on time worked quick loaded the truck moved our belongings and set it up. I would definately recommend.
