I’d like to start by saying that this review does not pertain to the quality of work, but rather, the lack of communication and accountability.I booked a move through Facebook and over the phone. When I saw the ad and called to reserve, I was told the rate was $110–$120/hour, then $130/hour (it changed for some reason) but when the movers arrived, I was charged $155/hour (they initially asked for $165/hour but they brought it down for me) because there were three men instead of two — this was never mentioned or approved during the booking call. They also came at a different time than what we agreed upon. If I knew they were going to overcharge me, I wouldn't have worked so hard to help during the move, since I was paying for 3 men to do an approx. 2 hour job in a 4 hour window.I paid the movers in cash because they did a great job, but when reaching out to the booker, Phil, to get a refund for the difference since the rate change was not disclosed, I only got a partial refund, then was asked to give 5 stars. Will not be returning due to lack of honesty and organization.
