My husband and I had a mixed experience with Georgia Home Movers. The team was efficient, on-time, and the prices were fair. However, there was a decent bit of minor damage to our walls in our house. Boxes were not handled with care. We had a lot of boxes upside down that said fragile. Not the end of the world, but something to note. The bigger issue was that the team lead tried to swindle us into tipping an excessive amount. He said the 6 team strives to get “$100 per person” in tips…for all the unexpected items not in boxes. We were already planning on tipping. This made us uncomfortable and left a bad taste in our mouths. Overall, I would not use this company again.
Jamal and his co-workers were phenomenal. They loaded and helped wrap up everything in my apartment. Everyone was super polite and professional. They even were able to come over early to help get all our times moved sooner. Fantastic and quick and quality service. I highly recommend using this service. They got everything done with care in 2 hours and helped cleaned up after.
Jamal, Marko, James & Sid (Cedric) did a fantastic job with our move from North Druid Hills to Roswell. Jamal was a master leader and made sure everything was running smoothly while of course doing a lot of the heavy lifting himself. Marko was very knowledgeable with a lot of experience - always knew best way to move the items. James is a beast, very strong and hard worker - even after it was done he kept asking how to help further. Sid/Cedric was a really hard worker as well, never stopped moving items until the job was done.All around a very solid squad, highly recommend!
I have used Georgia Home Movers twice now over a few years and it’s been an incredible experience each time. I highly highly recommend them. Very professional and friendly movers, very skilled at that they do. They made the moving process so easy, I can’t express enough appreciation.
Josh, Sed and Marco did an incredible job with my move last month. They were quick, efficient and handled everything with care. I’ve used many movers in the past but these guys were definitely a step above the rest. I referred them to a friend of mine who moved last week and he said they were great for him as well. Can’t say enough good things about them. Will definitely use them on my next move!
