I made the mistake of giving these people my information and get a free quote and now I'm being harassed via calls, SMS, and emails every day. They even call me after 10 PM.Classic Scammer behavior.Stay away from these people!

Beware of Let's Get Moving. I had a horrible experience with them on New Years Eve, and it's an ongoing nightmare. As a consumer, I would like to warn the public of their shady and despicable business practices. They have no problem defending slow, incompetent, incomplete "service"; extorting innocent customers into paying exorbitant invoices; and pressuring consumers into signing silly poorly written "settlement agreements" before releasing stolen property.I hired Let's Get Moving for a move on December 31, 2023, from a 2 bedroom plus den condo in Markham to a 3 bedroom condo in Scarborough, an 11 minute drive away. I explained the furniture that needed to be disassembled and the size of my unit to a moving consultant. Luis Z (moving consultant) assured me that it sounded like a standard move that should take between 3 to 4 hours. I informed the moving consultant (as well as the three movers that arrived) that I had an elevator reservation from 11am to 1pm. My parents helped transport some of the items to our new home the day before. Also, the remaining items were packed into labelled storage bins, and disposable and plastic bags.Three movers arrived at 10am. They didn't finish disassembling the furniture and loading the truck until after 4pm. They kept assuring us that they were working as best as they can. There were three grown men, and the weather was mild (no snow), so I'm not sure what their excuse was. We lived on the ground floor and they didn't need to access the elevator. They used the balcony, front and side entrances as well. I received a call from the manager Parsa who advised me that the invoice as of 6pm would be $1,700. I was appalled. Then he sent an additional mover to "help" complete the job. He assured me that it would be complete by 8pm, and quoted an invoice of $2,500. As it was getting closer to 8pm, even with the additional mover, the job was nowhere no completed. They still had many of my belongings in the truck. Parsa said one of the movers was coming up to my unit to accept payment. After 10 minutes, my younger sister went downstairs to make a payment but they refused to speak to her and drove away with the rest of our property. I called several times before their office closed at 9pm to make a payment. They screened my calls, there was no reply. I called, texted, emailed, and reached out to them on social media. They blocked me from their Facebook and Instagram accounts when I left comments. Finally I was able to reach Parsa the following day. He said that they would release the rest of my property if I paid the ridiculous invoice of $2,500. Then they pressured me into signing an idiotic poorly written "settlement agreement" discharging any amount owing and threatening legal action against me if me and my relatives discussed the moving experience online. Then I was given a deadline of 6pm on January 2 to sign or else they would not release my property. My father and sister had to travel to a storage facility in Aurora in order to ensure our property was in fact where they said it was, and make a payment in person. When the movers finally returned our property, a lot of it was damaged and scratched. Bags of laundry were ripped open. Pieces needed to reassemble our beds were missing. The mount for one of my TVs was taken apart. They destroyed my sister's desk and our TV stand. It took a customer service representative a WEEK to even give a semblance of an apology and acknowledge the wrongdoing on their end. Instead of working with consumers to reach an amicable and satisfactory agreement, they continue to defend horrendous business practices, offer a petty refund that nowhere compensates my family for this nightmare experience and all the damage that was caused, and threaten legal action against me for speaking out. I would like the public to know what a terrible and unprofessional business Let's Get Moving is.#SUEME#SCAMOPERATION#SLOPPYSERVICE#PROTECTCONSUMERSATALLCOSTS#BEWAREOFLETSGETMOVING#SCAMMERS#EXTORTION#TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE#SERVICESNOTRENDERED
