I cannot say enough good things about Scott and Amy and the crew at Guindon’s in Negaunee. They came through for us—going above and beyond to be sure we could help make the dream of a young man come true. They were able to move two very big, heavy appliances through a very tight door. Guindon’s did not have to be so kind and generous, but they were and I am so grateful.

Each step of the move was carried out in a way that made things easier. Amy in the office was a reliable source of updates and packing boxes. The moving crew operated as a team that clearly knew their business. Packing, loading, unloading, and assembling and positioning large items were done flawlessly. Their experience and professionalism were obvious. The cost calculated on an hourly rate plus mileage was less than I anticipated due to the skill of the team across the entire organization.

Given their age and emotions moving away from home it was important that we stay sensitive to their needs and feelings through the move. From day 1 and through the entire moving process Scott, Amy and the entire crew were professional, friendly, prompt, highly ethical and genuine. Scott and Amy communicated frequently and clearly set and exceeded expectations.
The quote was spot on with no hidden costs and no payment until job is complete. I highly recommend Scott and his team and would never go elsewhere. They are the best - you will not find anyone better! This is an industry laden with scams and surprise charges. You won’t find any of that with Scott and his crew. They are an ideal example of an integrity driven business.

Recently, I was relocating my elderly parent from Marquette, requiring a long-distance move. Guindon Moving & Storage was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. So often, companies forget that their customers don’t do large life-changing moves like this every day. That is not the case with Scott and Amy. Not only were they friendly, but also were patient and always willing to explain the process so we knew what to expect. The packing crew was considerate and thorough. I would recommend that Guindon Moving & Storage be the first call for anyone doing a move of considerable size. After you call other companies for 2nd and 3rd quotes, I guarantee you’ll be calling Guindon back to book your move.

I know I can be a bit frazzled and annoying to deal with but they just went with it and I thank them for it since I had to change my mind or add more stuff to take with. They were very accommodating and great about it. They also hustle really well. They were very accurate on the estimate and very well priced for the job. I would absolutely use them again and will always recommend them. Every single person I dealt with thru them was absolutely amazing and super friendly. Every single thing made it safe and sound as well. All of my antiques and furniture was well taken care of. They were also very cautious about doing damage to the lawn as well. Very thoughtful.

I highly recommend this moving company. My wife and I recently moved back to the UP after being on active duty for the past 10 years. Out of all the moving companies we dealt with, Guindon Moving & Storage blew everyone else out of the water.
