Mickey’s saved my entire move. Keith is the best!

When it came time to move from Medicine Hat to Edmonton, I was told about Mickey’s by a friend who said they’d be able to load up the truck no problem. However, they were booked up the weekend we needed them. Too bad for sure but we found another company who had availability and booked with them.

THEN less than 48 until the move, this other company calls and CANCELS. Says there was some internal politics that happened at the company and that they no longer have the workers available to move us. That’s it.

Cue me panicking and freaking out. We had movers booked in Edmonton to unload the truck and we needed to keep the same date.

I took a chance and called Mickey’s again.

I got Keith on the call and he felt terrible. He couldn’t believe this other company would do this to someone. He said that even though he was booked that day and time already, he would absolutely help me. There was no hesitation. That he would come himself to help load the truck. He even quoted me his normal rate. I told him I would absolutely pay a last minute booking fee or anything he wanted. He said no and that he doesn’t run his business that way. Wow!! He was totally in a situation where he could have raised his rate and he didn’t.

The day came and they were able to show up early and were SO efficient and fast it was amazing to watch. The truck we had was bigger than we needed and they were able to pack things in a way that filled the space so things didn’t shift like crazy during the drive. They were courteous and polite and again, impressively quick.

In the end the two of them loaded everything in 45 minutes and he didn’t want to even charge me the full hour!!

I’m telling you, this is a business you want to support. This is an operation that is honest and steps up for people.

Mickey’s Transport was fantastic. Not only did they step in at the last minute after another moving company bailed with just 1.5 days’ notice, but they also arrived early, handled our fragile items with great care while loading the U-Haul, and worked efficiently, even finishing ahead of schedule. And to top it off, they didn’t even want to charge us for the full hour. Wow. That’s customer service to the nth degree! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is what great service looks like!!

Slow unprofessional breaks furniture says that always happens, they’ll set your TV with the screen leaning against the pieces of wood, they will ask you to take some stuff in your own vehicle at 150 an hour I don’t know how three hours equals $550. I would never use these people again and I would never recommend them to anyone. The first picture is just to show you how they handle your expensive TV grabbing it by the screen.
