I used this company this past weekend and they damaged my brand new washer and dryer. The older gentlemen took pictures and no one every called me. I called today and spoke to the lady in the office and she said there is nothing they can do with my property being damaged. I would highly recommend that you don't use this company I paid over $900 for a moving company I thought was great. Come to find out they hire people with substance abuse issues and damage property
I had a move scheduled for 1pm on Saturday 6/17/23. I ran into an issue and called EZ Local Moving to let them know that I would be about 30 minutes late. The phone call was pleasant, professional and calm. I arrived about 45 minutes late and the gentleman/gentlemen were professional and pleasant.I was expecting for my move time (charge) to begin at 1pm, it is a business and I understand that. I was told that the charge time doesn't begin until I sign the paperwork.EZ Local Moving were professional, courteous and just nice throughout the entire process of moving and unloading my possessions.I will Definitely call on them again!
There were 3 movers that were excellent, they were careful with our stuff and were very respectful, they were Hispanics. Only thing that was very unprofessional was the old man and Cathy which I think they’re the driver & owner. After us paying $600 they charged are card another 400 to “keep” just Incase they took longer to love our stuff, they were already unloading are stuff & said it was going to take 2 hours to do, he was telling the workers to take their time so they could charge us more. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT COME HERE
You get what you get with these kind of ratings.I was going to give a much higher rating for their fast response times and friendly demeanor, overall, and I called at 7am on Sunday and they were available by 11am.But they damaged a $6500 Young Chang Piano and blocked my calls when I tried to file a claim with their insurance for the damages done to have it repaired. They came ill prepared to lift it, claiming I did not tell them it was upstairs. I told them twice, Kathy even called to confirm with me it was upstairs.I think they hire day labor guys and the 2 supervisors do not even give guidance on how to handle people’s delicate furniture. They supervise, that is it. I had to give the 4/5 guys instructions, finally, because the guys were totally incompetent, uniformed, and weak. My husband and another gentleman unloaded it much better than they loaded it once we arrived at the final destination, without a lifting strap.I paid $400 for an hours worth of work, claiming a two hour minimum.
I should have listened to the reviews and never used this company first of all they took two hours for one little bitty trailer load because I had to babysit them the entire time after I caught one of their guys stealing. they have no idea how to move furniture appropriately. And if you speak to the owner she literally does not care she told me and her exact words that she doesn’t lose any sleep over bad reviews because she is the only mover left in Midland. Save yourself the trouble and hire someone off of craigslist you would probably have better luck and a better price.
