I would never recommend this company after the experience I just had.I was told I would receive a 30-minute call ahead, but instead I got a call saying they were 5 minutes out at 8:45 AM.Then the truck showed up and it wasn’t the 26-foot truck expected. It was a small 20-foot truck, even though my order clearly stated two 20x10 storage units worth of items. The dispatcher even admitted that was in the order but still only sent one small truck. Which he then said after kind of admitting it that the 26 footers are saved for people who book a month out?? Which workers even said later it was really because the 26 footer hit a tree and is out right now. Further showing the type of company this is.Timeline of the move:• 9:00–9:15 AM: Movers standing around figuring out paperwork and what to do• 9:30 AM: First boxes finally start going on the truck• 12:17 PM: Truck finally loaded — and half of one unit still wasn’t even movedThen instead of heading straight to my house (which is 6.8 miles / about an 11-minute drive), the crew stopped at a gas station and didn’t arrive until 1:00 PM.So I was effectively paying $175 per hour for them to take a lunch break and stop at a gas station.When they arrived, they refused to unload until I paid for whole move for payment first. Which is crazy it’s a hourly basis. That turned into a ridiculous 20 minute argument argument about the hourly rate ($175 vs $199) with someone on the phone before they would even start unloading. Eventually they offered to knock $100 off, but by that point the experience had already been terrible. And I just spent 20 minutes the movers standing around waiting. THAT I PAID FOROther issues:• No formal quote was ever provided upfront• Truck size was never confirmed in writing• Three movers were sent, but two were basically trainees (one on his first day and another on his fourth)Honestly, two experienced movers would have done a better job faster. And running into walls and scraping furniture only further angered the situation.It took only about one hour to unload the truck, which just highlights how inefficient the whole process was.In the end I paid around $1,200 for a frustrating, disorganized move. I would have been far better off renting a U-Haul and hiring two competent movers.
Quintin, Dakota and Gus were the hardest workers I have ever met!! They were fun, energetic, and upbeat. The whole time there was no complaining and they worked together great. I feel they went above and beyond what they should’ve had to do for me just because of who they were! I would definitely use this company again with this crew!!
I have moved a few times throughout the years and let me just say hands down the best i have hired. INCREDIBLE customer service, gave me the price i was quoted (no gimmicks or fluff),arrived on time, moved all my stuff without damaging it, and re assembled with the same finesse & care, and just overall great attitudes. I strongly recommend Quinten & dakota those guys didn’t play around and they were quick, proficient, & very methodical in the process. Would recommend this moving company a million times.
Carl Thomas, Cedric Sewell, and Chris Scott were all amazing! They were the best help and such a great vibe to be around. They made this process so easy and actually enjoyable. They were awesome!!!
We moved from Mobile, Alabama to Pass Christian, Mississippi. Justin, Jaxon, Gus, CJ, and Jaylin were awesome. They were all polite young men and we throughly enjoyed their work ethic. By the end of the move, we all hung out a little and we laughed a lot. We did not take the additional insurance, since their first impression was so good. When Justin asked me if we wanted the extra insurance, I said “I trust you with our belongings.”I’ll be moving my Mom within the next two months and I will ask for the same crew.
