After a previous bad moving experience, I contacted JFK Moving LLC specifically to handle a heavy executive desk that another company refused to move. From my first call with Tia, I knew I was dealing with professionals. She listened, understood my concerns, and confidently assured me they could get it done. The pricing was fair and transparent, and she even worked with me on a small adjustment. On moving day, Suhrob and David arrived early (which I appreciated), worked efficiently, and handled the desk and other items with extreme care. They disassembled the desk properly, moved it without damage, and even explained how it comes apart for future reference. They also helped carry a few heavy items upstairs that I couldn’t manage on my own.Professional, respectful, skilled, and reliable. I will absolutely use JFK Moving again for my full-house move this summer.UPDATE – March 2026I recently used JFK Moving again and they delivered another excellent experience. This time the job involved moving a large refrigerator from my home in Fontana to my storage unit in Riverside, and because of its size they had to remove my sliding glass door from the frame to safely get it out of the house.Lewis and Bob handled the entire process carefully and professionally. They removed the door, maneuvered the refrigerator out without damage, transported it safely, and reinstalled everything properly. They also helped transfer items from my smaller storage unit into a larger one, making sure everything was organized neatly and easily accessible.Tia from the office was fantastic once again. She coordinated everything, kept me informed, and made sure I received a return-customer discount. There was also a small billing detail where a $50 credit was accidentally missed. They caught it themselves, contacted me, asked for my Zelle details, and sent the refund the next day. I appreciated their honesty and proactive customer service.Between both moves, JFK Moving has proven to be professional, careful, organized, and trustworthy. I highly recommend them if you need movers anywhere in Riverside, Fontana, Moreno Valley, or the Inland Empire.
JFK Moving, LLC handled our recent move from our townhouse in La Quinta to our new home in Indio, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They were the first company to respond with an estimate, and their rates, timeline, and expectations were clearly communicated and aligned perfectly with our needs, so booking with them was an easy decision. The four-man crew was efficient, stayed focused, and communicated with us throughout the move to ensure every item was placed exactly where it belonged. They were professional, personable, and completely trustworthy. We highly recommend JFK Moving, LLC and would gladly use them again.
I want to start by saying I genuinely feel for the workers — moving is physically demanding work and it’s often underpaid. That said, my experience with this company was disappointing.During my move, my brand new 58-inch TV was cracked and completely ruined. I understand that accidents can happen during a move. What truly sets a company apart, though, is how they respond when something goes wrong. When I called to notify Tia, she sounded irritated and simply stated she would send me a claims link. There was no acknowledgment, apology, or basic customer care. She said I would receive the link within 20 minutes — I never did. After work, I had to search the website myself to find and submit the claim.I later learned that unless you purchase separate insurance, reimbursement is minimal — essentially pennies on the dollar. For context, I paid $660 for four hours of service (including a $40 tip per driver), and I’m now out a $500 TV.At this point, I’m taking the loss and accepting that I should have done more research beforehand. Moving is already stressful and exhausting — if you’re feeling rushed or overwhelmed, wait until you can properly vet your movers.Based on my experience, I would recommend exploring other moving companies.
**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK**I wrote this review a few days after JFK Moving moved my items. I originally gave them two stars. They called me not long after this review was posted and offered me $100 to take it down! They are (badly) bribing customers to take bad reviews down or change them into positive reviews so new customers never find out what a crummy job they do. Protect yourself and your stuff. Hire someone else!We honestly did not have a good experience with this moving company. They tracked a bunch of mulch, leaves, and dirt into the apartment we were moving out of. They used pieces of mulch to wedge our front door open and then left the mulch in the house. They took the trash bag out of my trash can and left it on the floor of the living room along with a bunch of their trash like loose pieces of plastic wrap, bits of cardboard, and the empty rolls from the plastic wrap. I left the apartment about 20 minutes after they left and beat them to the new house by almost two hours. It took them almost three hours to get there. We only moved 1hr 15min away. When they were unpacking, one of the movers had stacked several boxes that had been marked “fragile” on his dolly. When going down a step in our house, the top two boxes fell hard on our tile floor from the dolly. When we opened the first box, we saw that two of our mugs had shattered, one that was a special gift from a friend, and one that my mom, who passed away recently, had painted for me when I was a child. When we opened the second fragile box, we saw that a teacup and plate set also from my mom had also cracked and broken. When we brought up the shattered mugs and plate set to the movers, one of them walked up mid conversation and began telling us that it was actually our fault and that the moving company isn’t responsible if things break because of our packing. We explained that the boxes had been packed well and wouldn’t have shattered if they hadn’t been dropped. We also pointed out that the boxes very clearly had fragile written on them. This one mover continued to argue with us for a while before he finally walked away. The mover who seemed to be in charge offered us a small discount for it, but the mover who broke the mugs never apologized and basically disappeared the rest of the time they were there.Later, we discovered they completely filled our compost and yard waste bin with their moving trash which was mostly a ton of plastic wrap, their lunch trash, and a bit of cardboard. We ended up having to move all of their trash to our trash can instead because it can’t be in the yard waste bin. We just moved in and we couldn’t put anything else in our trash can for almost a full week because it was full of their trash.
I can honestly say out of all the movers I’ve had David, Juan, and Daniel has been the BEST. There has not been a single complaint I could think of genuinely. Professional, efficient, communicative, you could not request a better team than them.I additionally want to point out how they not only carefully handled my belongings but ensure they were properly secured and wrapped each step of the way. It’s unheard of to come across a moving team that you can’t find a single issue with, this is what David, Juan, and Daniel represents. I definitely 110% recommend!!!
