I ordered a vanity from Home Depot. They used Central Transport to deliver it. The vanity looked as it had originally been packed from the manufacturer well, but there was a bowing. They only sent one person to unload a 500 pound package. The package was placed in the truck in a position to where the hand pump fork lift could not access to pallet on the side with the fork lift support and fork cutouts. The pallet was broken. My husband had to help manure vanity onto the hydraulic truck lift . Then the driver scooted it off the lift part way and attempted to drive off in order for it to slip the rest of the way off resulting in it being dragged behind the truck. We had to stop him. Them my husband had to slide it off manually. Upon inspection it had several damages including the vanity top being cracked in two. To make matters worse, the replacement vanity was loaded the same way, broken pallet and all, and yes, it too was damaged. I hope Home Depot uses a different company on my 3rd attempt. I wish I could give them negative stars. Customer service was no help!
Absolutely awful!! DO NOT USE!!! THEY WILL FORGE DELIVERY SIGNATURES!!! ZERO COMMUNICATION, NO PHOTOS UPON SUPPOSEDLY DELIVERED ITEM &YOU WILL BE OUT TIMES 2 OR MORE!! After saving for years for a bathroom remodel, i Ordered a $1700 vanity from Home Depot with a delivery date of 8-28-24. Waited waited waited..... nothing! Called to see where my vanity was after 4 days. According to the Home depot It was supposedly DELIVERED? WHEN?? It STILL SAYS UNDELIVERED ON HOME DEPOT SITE! I'm pretty sure I would notice a huge 6 ft vanity at my door! I Call Home Depot multiple times and finally just ended up disputing the charges. I check my cameras for the supposedly day! NOTHING!! I recieved my claim, and the response says they delivered it! well a slip central produced shows central FORGED A SIGNATURE squiggly circle as a delivered to ME!! I DID NOT SIGN ANY THING OR RECIEVE MY VANITY! Shame on your company. Now I'm out $1700 times 2!! Having to purchase another one to finish my project! Disgusting company!
If there was less than 1 star they would get it. And Home Depot too. We ordered a counter top from Home Depot that could not be delivered to their store for pick up. We were told that it would arrive on October 30, Nov. 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, and now on the 14th. I have called Home Depot numerous times and spent what amounts to hours waiting for anyone to give me info. I finally got the info for Central Trans. from Home Depot. They talked to us and told us that our countertop had been on their truck since 10/26 and they didn't know why it wasn't delivered. We asked if we could just go pick it up from them and never got an answer about that. Three days later they called back to say it would be delivered on the 14th. Though the website says 13th. We don't know if it's really going to be delivered, we can't get a straight answer from anyone. So at this point if it's not in my hands tomorrow, it's canceled. This has been extremely frustrating and time consuming. I could've just picked the damn thing up at Lowe's, who has it in stock. I wish I'd known that before dealing with Home Depot and Central Transport. Ugh!11/15/2023 PostScript: After speaking with a resolution representative for HD the countertop was delivered on 11/14 and we received a nice discount for our trouble. The actual delivery person was very nice and helpful and turned our awful experience into a much better one. The CT office people were rude and unhelpful, yet the driver was awesome. Go figure. The HD reps were all helpful and kind.
Unbelievably unprofessional! I ordered a very critical piece of equipment (oven) for my coffee shop and the delivery date kept getting pushed to the next day without any explanation. I spent several days in a row at the shop waiting to meet the driver that never showed up. No call, no heads up, nothing! The initial attempt at delivery was 10 days after the original planned delivery date! To make that worse, the driver got mad at my baristas for not having a forklift to unload the truck! It is acounter top oven that could easily be lifted by two people without a forklift. Seems a transport company would have thought that through before driving 30 miles, but he gave my employees a bunch of attitude and left. He told my employees that he wasn't sure when it could get delivered.I waited another 3 weeks with back and forth phone calls, empty promises of delivery dates, and missed opportunities to use the equipment. It is now over A MONTH past the initial delivery date and my oven just got dropped off today. I can't wait to unpack the crate and see what condition it's in....As a business owner I just can't imagine how they could operate like this and stay in business. Maybe people just don't know? Well, I had to learn that lesson the hard way. Don't make my mistake!
Just got ran off the road by one of your drivers in Arlington, WA this afternoon. Until today I wasn't even aware of your company but this driver isn't helping your company's reputation.
