Our house flooded and we had around 6 tons of debris in the back breaker crew came out and galled it all off and brought some sense of peace back to our lives. What fantastic service! After a stress-free estimate from Luke, the moving crew of Mike, Marshall, and Samuel arrived with everything they needed to load the truck.Everyone was very professional and so kind to work with. I really appreciated how much easier they made this complicated move. All of my fragile items and breakable equipment were carefully wrapped and packaged before loading. And the loading process was skillful. It's very clear that everyone loves what they do and that Backbreakers NW is a great place to work. They clearly care about their customers.
We hired BackBreakers NW July 2024 to partially pack a household of furniture and move into storage in Burlington 124 miles away. The packing crew was courteous and seemed competent. But later after seeing how a different BackBreakers crew unloaded and packed things the next day, I decided I would not use them to move my things into a house a year later. Particularly unnerving was the unwrapped TV set on the floor 3 feet from the door, lamp shades on top of glass lamp shades without any padding in between. I had not traveled the distance to supervise the unpacking at storage. My error.July 2025 I hired a different company and they discovered that a leg of an irreplaceable antique desk had been broken when it was placed into storage. They showed me immediately so I know when it would have happened. I had to hire a woodworker to repair the desk leg. One very expensive original piece of art in the frame was not wrapped at all and the frame set leaning against a wall in storage. Totally unacceptable. Also lamp shades in a box were glass to glass without any padding around them. Two leather recliners have long-lasting indentations on the sides from them nesting upside down one in the other. In a box marked "pictures" was the cookware top I'd been looking for a month. I do not recommend this company. Two stars given only because on initial the long haul they seemed to care.
From the initial estimate with Tyler through the actual move, BackBreakers NW was absolutely amazing. Carlos, Marshall, and Josh were our moving crew and they were efficient, helpful, and such fun to work with. They handled my furniture and belongings with care, suggested other ways they could be helpful when I was pulling my hair out at all the "odds-and-ends,” and put the furniture just where I wanted it. They made sure the garage was organized so I can easily access my stuff as l unpack, and were so good natured about the whole process. Add the reasonable price and clear communication, and you have an excellent moving experience! Thanks, everybody, for making a typically stressful time a little less stressful. Highly recommend.
