We contracted with Murphy Moving (Brewster location) to make a complicated move out from our Mamaroneck home, after 41 years there. The entire process was seamless, starting with their professional estimator. They packed our belongings carefully. It was a two step move; first everything into storage and a few days later (after the house closing) bringing a portion of our items to our new rental apartment. They stored and staged everything logically to make the two moves very efficient. A PLUS!!

It’s amazing how much work it takes to move everything you accumulated after 10 years from one place to another. The service from everyone I dealt with at Murphy Moving and Storage was absolutely exceptional, and they made it a smooth transition. Gregg—who provided the estimate—was fair and honest. The project coordinator, Kyla, was exceptionally responsive and caring. And the moving crew, led by Marcelo, went above and beyond working hard all day to move me out of a fourth floor walk up. They never slowed down even in the 92 degree heat. I couldn’t have hoped for a better team. Moving is hard, but you can trust these guys to do their best. I’m so grateful for their help!

Right from the start with John Vitti, our estimator, the professionalism and customer service focus was readily apparent. Thanks Murphy Movers!

Unfortunately on a subsequent move we had over $1,000 in damages. Was glad that we chose a no deductible insurance option this time. Consider doing that on your next move.

This was our 2nd move job with Murphy in 6 months and I wouldn’t use any other movers in the future. Their crew moved us out of our Southport, CT home in Sept. 2022 and into 2 local storage units. Today, Marcio and his crew moved us out of storage and into a home in Branford, CT. They were superb, and totally in-sync as a team. It’s 5 hrs. later and we’re singing their praises: Thanks to Len & Lisa in Sales & Support and to all the hard workers on both crews; They’re the best!
