Do yourself a favor...stay away from this company. If I could give them 0 stars, I would because of what happened during and after a move my 86-year old mother paid for...and for the way we were treated.

Edit:
The company has responded to this review claiming we tried to get them to pay a "significant amount of money" to prevent a negative review...this totally mischaracterizes what happened. We contacted them to request a two hour reduction in my elderly mother's bill because one of their workers became ill with stomach cramps and spent the better part of two hours in my daughter's bathroom with diarrhea...during this time, the other guy couldn't move any of the heavy stuff because his partner was ill. The workers then went to a nearby Walmart for two hours, with much of my daughter's belongings in their truck, to get medicine for the sick worker...and my mom had no idea what was going on during that time..They did not contact their office to tell them about the problem...my mom had to do that...they had to send a replacement crew to Covington to complete the move...We asked this franchise for a small reduction in my mom's bill because the worker's illness greatly slowed them down and for two hours, my mom wasn't getting the full service that they were charging her for during that time. The franchise owner rejected our request, didn't believe our claims about the worker's illness..and claimed my request for a small reduction...$300... for the time their worker was ill was "extortion". We never asked them to pay us to prevent a negative review....I told them that if we couldn't come to an agreement, that I would be posting a negative review based on what my mom went through and that we would consider filing a consumer complaint with the Louisiana Public Service Commission because we felt my mom was being overcharged.
My mom decided after that to wash her hands of this company...she ended up paying them $1,300.
We have made the corporate headquarters for Two Men and Truck aware of this, but got nowhere. Hire this company if you choose, but that's what happened to us. My mom described what happened that day as a "nightmare" and that she regrets ever hiring them.

Jennifer Benjamin on Two Men and a Truck Moving

I’ve used Two Men & A Truck four times now for various moves in the New Orleans area, and each time was a great experience. They provided great communication, were on time, friendly and respectful. The moves were efficient and problem free. I would highly recommend!

Great company to help move you. The two gentelmen helping my in-laws move into their new home were so helpful and nice. They disassembed the large furniture and reassembled them at the new location without any delays or issues.

Our two movers, Robert and Dereon were awesome!! They were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. The destination was a third-floor apartment with no elevator available. They were methodical in how they approached it. From start to finish including travel time was 2 hours. Very impressive! This is the second time I have used two men and a truck in the last 8 months. Would highly recommend them.

Rekha Rishi Carmer on Two Men and a Truck Moving

The poor service with this company is unmeasurable. Our dressers are sideways, bed wobbly and wrongly assembled even with instructions on. Kids bed is not flush and may fall down. Boxes placed out of rooms they were meant to be. You do better paying some college boys 40 bucks an hour and throwing all inside a u haul truck than paying $165 per hour to be disappointed. Nearly $4k down the drain in moving and packing fees, plus around 4k in clothes left behind on hampers they said they would throw it in the truck.

Trust the bad reviews. Owner is influential enough to have all his friends and family rate this 5 stars, but the negative reviews as an other user said, are not fabricated. Expert movers need someone to hold their hand, Kindergarten level, quite literally. All the mistakes done and they want to charge to move dressers to correct position, reassemble bed. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who is locally owned, not franchised.
