These guys are the most affordable movers I came across when researching for our move from a rental to our new home, and it was by a fairly significant margin. That said, there were some bizarre moments that clarified why the cost was so much lower. For one, I was handed the contract on moving day by someone still actively smoking a cigarette right next to me which was unpleasant. I was never asked if they could continue having their hourly smoke breaks in my backyard rather than the sidewalk.Then it turned out they didn’t bring enough movers either which led to needing to call in a last minute addition at the new house, which surprised me because not only were my husband and I helping them move boxes but I was very clear on the phone about how much stuff we have.There was some carelessness with a few items that led to some chips and scratches, but that happens sometimes. For the most part they wrapped all the items in plastic, which was appreciated.Mostly I just felt like one of the movers got way too familiar way too quickly and it didn’t feel super professional, but that’s what you get for the price, really. Overall my items got moved properly, in roughly the anticipated amount of time, with minimal damage so mission accomplished. But I think I’d have appreciated some more respect. If you’re looking for white glove service, it’s probably not these guys, but they’ll absolutely get your stuff from A to B. How much you enjoy the experience depends on what you’re looking for, ultimately.
I recently used Max Moving, and I must say I'm impressed with their punctuality. They arrived right on time even after a snow storm, which made my move a lot less stressful. The movers were professional and friendly, and they handled my belongings with care. Overall, I had a positive experience with this company, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable moving services.
Vlad met at our home to provide price for our move. He gave a fair price and was extremely flexible with our move date which was moved up a week. The crew showed up on time and were professional and courteous. The truck was loaded quickly with no damages. Once at our new home the unload was great, my wife directed them were everything was to be located and the crew were very pleasant and respectful. All furniture was wrapped and protected. All in all a great experience and I would recommend Max Movers to anyone. Keep up the good work!!!
2/5/2019My husband and I recently moved and we had Max Movers; since the very first conversation Vlad was very professional, helpful and put our minds at ease.We are pensioners age and we hadn't moved for a very long time and were worried about it.All the companies that we did call were extremely expensive - Max Moving is affordable and the service from start to finish was excellent.The men that were assigned to move us were awesome, friendly, professionals and excellent at what they do. Our move went smooth and my husband and I are so very pleased.Eve C.
