I have used the "Moving Man" several times over the years and the service had always been fantastic and prices very fair. This last move was a special one though. My elderly Mom was moving from our family home. Pete and his team were so professional and kind as she was overseeing her precious belongs. They took due care and made sure everything was placed where it was supposed to be. They eased what could have been a very hard day. Again, the prices was wonderful for all their hard work! On 9/5/20, my 88-year-old mom came to live with us. Not being kids ourselves, we decided to hire a mover. After calling several & just getting VM, I next called the Moving Man. This was on Monday, asking for a move on a holiday weekend. The call was answered by Pete Zito who arranged their schedule to accommodate our 2-3 hour job. Anthony & AJ were on time, very professional & courteous. They moved mom's antique bedroom furniture without a scratch or complaint, even when I thought it 'might look better over there'. They were even able to move a huge pressboard cabinet that everyone thought would break because they are not made to be moved. I am so glad that he's the one who answered the phone. They made what would have been a long back-breaking day so much easier (for us anyway!). It was worth every penny. Thanks guys!
I recently used the Moving Man Company.I've moved a couple times before with other companies and I must say I wish I had called this company first.I was very pleased with how things went and the price.The men went out of their way to make sure nothing was damaged and were very polite in spite of how very hot it was that day, especially having to carry many things up three flights of stairs.I will certainly recommend the Moving Man Company to my friends and family.
Pete and his workers were very nice people. They worked with us when our moving day changed several times. However, we had several broken items and two damaged furniture pieces. Granted, it was not an easy move from a house to an apartment; but not all of our possessions were packed and subsequently when we went back to get them we could not get back into our old house. The price was fair, but we never knew the final price until after we moved. In all, as nice as the people were we were not comfortable with the whole experience and felt it was slightly unprofessional. Other people may have had better experiences and I am sure we weren't the perfect clients. Pete settled with us fairly and his crew were very friendly.
