I have used this five star, family owned business twice now, and could not have been more impressed with their prompt responses and quality of care. The staff made me feel like I and my belongings truly mattered to them. This was especially important when dealing with moving my mother from the only home she has ever owned (for over 50 years) into a retirement community. It was a stressful situation that was made far less intimidating by Edgemont. Thank you so much David and Meaghan (and everyone else there) for your wonderful help! After 15 years of using the same moving company for my projects, I decided to try Edgemont Moving — and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. David Crawford's team was professional, careful, and incredibly helpful.They treated my client’s new furniture with great care and went above and beyond to assist with staging the home. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really stood out. I was thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be using them again for future projects!
Not impressed at all. Their movers were not careful at all and one seemed annoyed when I questioned their handling of heavy items. I tipped them generously on the advice of the ‘downsize helper’ I had hired. She advised them early that they would be tipped - I guess to ensure they would be more conscientious.. she said the moving guys were not well paid. . Not sure why this is a clients responsibility. The company charged plenty. I would not use them again.
I can not say enough about this company and their crew.In a horrible situation . Everyone there was so helpful and went way beyond . I recommend this company to anyone who wants real old school customer service. The movers recognized that we were two senior . One of which is not mobile . Everything went smooth . They wrapped all the furniture to keep it safe.It was raining so hard . You would never know it.They respected all the Strata rules . It just took the edge off.Recommend Edgemont movers to everyone . Edgemont Moving & Storage were exceptional. Having moved several times in 18 years across various countries in Asia before our final relocation to North Vancouver, we had come to expect the highest level of service and were not sure if the same was available domestically. They went above and beyond our expectations, ensuring our belongings were carefully wrapped, boxed and protected for the move from our rental property, as well as having the same two person crew there at the new house after the move to unpack them in their respective rooms.The moving team worked tirelessly to ensure walls and floors were protected at both locations, even working late on the last day to get the job done. Kudos to them for managing to get a custom-built teak bookshelf down an outside stairwell into the lower level TV room!David Crawford, the company's owner obviously wants his customers to feel that they and their household belongings are respected. It was a pleasure working with Edgemont Moving and we heartily recommend them for your next move!
