I had a great experience with the whole team after being sent the link to the website by a friend. My initial conversation was with Angela, a bright and bubbly gal who found a time for moving my leather sectional sofa which saved me hundreds of dollars. After that, I dealt with Joseph, who picked up my piece from the seller in the greater Vancouver area. I was buying it unseen, and I really felt taken care of by Joseph, who was in communications with both the seller and myself at all times to make things easy for us. He also took close up photos of things he wanted me to see (the sofa was not new) before he and his team packed it up extremely well and with care, and loaded it into their truck for transport to Vancouver Island. Delivery to my house was made by Seyi and his team, who were so gentle with my sectional when they brought it into my house and set it up. This is truly a “white glove service” company. They exceeded my expectations in terms of excellent communication, coordination, care taken with my furniture, friendly team, pricing, payment… all of it. I highly recommend Island Movers to anyone looking for help with moving between the island and the mainland. Your items will be in very good hands.
We moved from the Midwest of USA to a warehouse storage in Surrey. They would go no further. We found Island Movers and they were happy to move us the rest of the way to a Southern Gulf Island. They were reasonable price, professional, friendly and right on time. We had a great set of movers on mainland side and then at our home we had, Mike, Joseph and Sohil. Everyone was the best you could ask for . Highly recommend

They had their team come to view the contents of our apartment to give us an estimate, planned the move, including booking the ferry and meeting us the next day at the scheduled time.Everything went smoothly.
