Reviews are mixed, with recurring concerns about delivery delays beyond initial expectations and differences between quoted and final costs. Several customers mention communication gaps during transit and difficulty getting clear updates. There are also reports of damage or missing items and disputes over claims. A smaller number of reviews note satisfactory pickups and courteous crews, but consistency appears to be a theme.
DO NOT USE !! I had an expensive painting come up missing and major damage to my dining room set. The person who delivered my belongings told me he was going to go back to where they store the items pending delivery and search for the art work and if it wasn’t there he was going to contact the people along the delivery route to see if it was delivered to the wrong location. He was keeping in contact via text messaging, which I have copies of. The reason it was denied ? No R&E/NDS. R&E- (no) Remarks or exceptions noted on inventory indicating items arrived damaged or missing. This is despite me submitting numerous photos showing clear damage to the dining set AND showing the text messages from the delivery person that he was searching for the missing artwork. Apparently the delivery person never made notations about either, which he said he did. Plus I have the text messages to and from him indicating he was trying to locate my property. Of course now no one will return my calls or respond to emails. So whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Of note: they quoted me a price and the day of delivery told me it would be an extra 500 dollars since I live in a gated community and they wouldn’t allow the truck in due to its size. They knew I was moving to a gated community and the truck was large because they were doing other deliveries besides mine. They gave me 3 options 1. Pay the 500.00 2. Pay for them to rent a smaller truck and have them come back on a later date at additional fees 3. Have me go to the roadside and unload the truck myself. So I had no choice to pay the additional 500.00 bucks. Unethical, unprofessional and crooked
Absolutely terrible company! They offered me a quick pick up and stated it would be going on a truck that was leaving within the next few days. They held my stuff in storage for 2.5 weeks with no updates. When I called to follow up they gave me attitude, talked very nasty to me and my husband. I had to ask to speak to manager Doris who got on the phone with an attitude. Kept telling me there is nothing they can do. I asked for a delivery date so that we can plan to be home but she just kept stating that they don't know and the driver would call me the day before. They are not considerate or kind. They do not care about working with you. They lie without missing a beat. Definitely not worth going with this company. If they say "oh i can give you a discount right now" DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. They booked me for a smaller cubic square feet amount than I would need despite me telling them I had several large items so when the movers arrived I had to pay an extra $1000 and still was not able to move all my items. I really hate to leave bad reviews but I hope this saves someone a headache.
I do NOT recommend them for long distance moving! I did everything they asked and they wayyyyy underquoted me and when the movers came they charged me an additional $2500. Then it took them 2 weeks to arrive when I was originally told 3-5 days. When I called after a week they told me the truck broke down…how come no one notified us or anyone else they still hadn’t delivered to yet that they were delayed due to this? That’s unprofessional. Then when they finally arrived most of my boxes were smashed and damaged, plastic bins broken, furniture broken or scratched, and my kids large toys (that I paid extra to move) were broken into pieces and not fixable. My son was in tears. Do NOT use this company!Update: After I finally got my own place and moved everything out of storage I found out that the desk had a broken leg, my $1400 bed frame was broken and not fixable because some of the broken parts were missing(they were clearly trying to hide the damage), things in boxes were broken, and one of my computer monitors that I had bubble wrapped & the corner foam on & in a fragile tv/monitor box had a cracked screen!!! How badly were they throwing my stuff around that they broke a protected monitor screen!!!! Worst moving company ever I wish I could have sued them for all the damage they caused and how much $$ I lost on this move.
STAY AWAY! A terrible experience! I could not be more displeased. TLDR: Bait and switch. non-english speakers. rushed to sign documents. damaged property. poor compensation.I'm attaching photos with a written breakdown of how awful they are, and will be looking to share these reviews with as many people as possible. (I'm not posting photos of all the broken things. Just enough to give you an idea).Oh, I forgot to mention that they also used MY drill (without permission) for taking apart furniture and putting it back together, and lost one of my specialty bits in the process.
I am giving them a 1 star because 0 was not an option. I am prior military and have moved over 18 times. When I hired "Top Rated" Moving company, it was my first move out of the military....and let me say the company is EVERYTHING BUT top rated. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I will summarize: 1.) Estimate was about half what I was charged for. 2.) The delivery crew attempt to steal some of my items as evident with their names written on it. 3.) "White glove" service worked for the first 30% of my boxes until they ran out of paper and then loaded heavy items on top of china and breakables 4.) They damaged my new hardwood flooring when delivering 5.) They drove all over my yard and left ruts 6.) They held my items hostage until I paid which prevented me from doing a detailed inspection of items. 7.) The $30K in claims I formally submitted they tried to settle for $293.05.I have given them 1 last chance to make this right or I will provide a follow-up review on how smoothly the civil court process works out.
