I realize our move happened during a slower time of the year, but these guys were responsive, attentive, detailed, careful, prompt, courteous and friendly- and as a true blue Texan in Maine I really, really appreciate friendliness and warmth! I would use them again and recommend them to anyone and everyone. Our crew even took apart and reassembled our (custom-built king size bamboo plywood platform) bed frame with skill and very impressive patience. Trust me when I say this is no Ikea bed, there are no instructions, and it was not built to be taken apart for any reason! When I would have been throwing my drill, they only huffed a little. Can I give 10 stars?
The crew from Local Muscle were fantastic. They moved several very large pieces of furniture up and down a narrow, angled stairway very smoothly. They also were more than careful in moving several very antique bureaus and a tall clock. They were great and i would recommend to all for any move, big or little.

Zack and Cory arrived ahead of schedule, assessed what had to be done to move my new lathe from garage to basement, began work right away, helped me secure it to its stand, and helped me re-crate a damaged lathe for return to the dealer. Local Muscle Movers was fantastic. They arrived 12 minutes into my 1 hour start window and completed my move from Westbrook to Windham in 3 hours flat. The two movers maneuvered heavy furniture and appliances down a apartment stairwell with a 180 degree turn without a single wall or ceiling bump. They carried boxes, furniture, and appliances to the correct rooms at the destination. The movers were friendly, communicative, and professional. Highly recommend!!!Update: I hired Local Muscle Movers again to rearrange heavy furniture and lay rugs. They were timely, worked efficiently, and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the work and positioning of furniture. Well worth the cost to have it done correctly.
