SC Moving Services helped me out when I was in a crunch from a Landlord issue and needed to move quickly. Very reasonable price. They worked with my schedule and fit me in much sooner than the date I originally requested. Communication was thorough and expectations clear. Chris came out on a Saturday to survey my belongings and advise on preparing the front entryway for the crew for the smoothest possible move - which I REALLY appreciated as my goal was to get out ASAP! On the day of the move I received a call when the crew was 30-minutes out. The crew arrived and expertly positioned the truck in front of the house and, to my surprise, there were FOUR crew members. Former Army here, and I've done bigger and more involved moves with only two moving crew (lowest bidder maybe...). These four guys were SO nice and respectful of all my stuff. All four of them were around while I described what would go and what would remain in the house. They frequently asked questions when needed and asked me to make sure they had moved everything I needed to be moved. Then at the other end (moved from South Portland to Biddeford), they were as efficient and mindful as they were in SoPo. Asked me where I wanted stuff, double checked instructions on where to set up furniture, and laid out two blue mover mats to minimize dirt on the floors (I appreciated this effort!). I will say that I didn't have them pack anything - I did as much as I could by myself to expedite the move - but it was fast! I believe the entire move, to include disassembly and loading, transit time, and move-in/setup at the destination house, was less than four hours. They showed up at 1pm, and left while it was still daylight in Biddeford. I HIGHLY recommend this team of professionals for your move!
