I would highly recommend using Movers of Honor. They did a local house move for my family recently and were on time and billed per the quote. They communicated after booking and emailed and called prior to the move. Very nice guys who work hard and got the work completed quickly and efficiently.
I have used Movers of Honor for several moves, and had an excellent experience. That was not the case with our September move. The guys were easy to deal with, respectful and generally very careful, but we did have some damage, which we pointed out to them either at or just after they were finished. They acknowledged the issues and we were confident we would be taken care of well. I spoke with the owner, Mark, and told him what a great job his guys did, we discussed the damages, and came to a reasonable resolution. Then they ghosted us for 10 days. We finally sent a text telling them we would have to proceed with filing a complaint unless they responded and took care of what had been agreed to,and we got a text back telling me not to threaten them, and that they had no intention of honoring anything. We were not looking for any monetary compensation, just for the to remove the damaged pieces and bring us a table and chairs from my sons two towns over.I would not recommend using them at this point, because they do not honor their contract. It is a shame, because they do not movers are all vets and wonderful to work with. Damages included a chip and scratches on our glass dining table, chips to the lacquer doors on our buffet, scratches on our kitchen table, and a broken leg on an end table.
Love Movers of Honor! Used them for two moves, the recent being a super complex and large move involving multiple days/storage units/trips and they were very accommodating and reasonable. Everything was safe and sound and the crew was easy to work with.
A task procrastinated for years! Cue: Etta James singing “At Last”. They cleared 40 years of books and musical instruments in under 2 hours!! And for dessert they moved a couch and chair down a tall, crooked staircase. Not sure if they broke a sweat but they never complained. They were polite and meticulous. Next stop is the 50 years of storage bin madness! Thank you for your patience and kindness. Today is a zero humidity day so it went really well. I wish you could see how happy I am. Even the dog liked the “Team”!! And he’s a tough dog. Thank you Movers of Honor and Grace. And a sit, stay, paw from Charlie!!
I’d previously given Movers of Honor a 5-star review but then our stuff arrived and I saw how poorly they’d packed. Clearly labeled Fragile boxes were UNDER clearly labeled boxes of books, some were upside down. Almost every piece of furniture was damaged. So disappointed. When I reached out about the damage, they sadly took no responsibility.
