A Smooth Move

A Smooth Move (ASM) helped us in our transition from a large lake house to a much smaller residence in a senior living building. We initially found out about ASM by attending a presentation at the senior living. After chatting with the representative, we decided that they would be a good fit for us in what would otherwise be a difficult move.
The decision was a good one. ASM paced everything to be most helpful to us: the packers came in the day before the major move and did a great job of packing up all our fragile dishes, artwork, and other smaller items so everything was ready for the movers. On the day of the move, ASM provided plenty of movers to haul the big and heavy stuff from the old house. At the destination, they coordinated with the senior living staff to reserve the service elevator and brought and stacked everything in the new apartment exactly where we needed it. The packers carefully unpacked and placed all the dishes, cookware, and other items where we needed them.
Throughout the process, all the ASM folks worked carefully, diligently, and with good humor. When they realized they had left one heavy and important item behind—it was sitting behind a door—they happily picked it up and delivered it the very next day.

Great experience.They were so professional from start to finish. I used 3 Men and a Truck my last move and it was awful. Very poor communication and my expensive treadmill got destroyed in the move. They refused to repair or replace it. If a company will not guarantee a move why use them even if they are a little cheaper. Using 3 Men and Truck cost me over 2k to replace my treadmill. Smooth Move is the only company I will use going forward given their commitment to a great customer experience and guarantee to repair or replace any damaged items during the move. They even followed up after the move to make sure everything went well.

If you are moving aging parents, this is the ONLY company to use. They helped plan what could go, carefully packed treasures, were kind and thoughtful in talking to my parents. The team on moving day was spectacular, somehow managed to chat with my Dad and get the move done efficiently. They were very good at moving things around in the new apartment, and even asked where to put each box. We also had the team clean out and deep clean the house at the end, we picked a date a week later so we could make sure we had or left behind the right things. When they left, the old home was market ready. Denise in the office was excellent at checking in and answering all questions. We can't recommend this company enough.

Smooth Move was a great choice for our Mom’s downsizing from her home of 25 years to her new apartment in independent living. The team of Robert, Kamal and Adam were such a warm friendly team who went above and beyond to make my Mom’s move “smooth”. My mom was their top priority and the guys made sure she was taken care of. We asked for extra services in delivering items elsewhere and the team took this on with no question. In fact, you might say they accepted the challenge. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and so personable. It’s so nice to work with a smaller company that values customer relationships and works as a family oriented team.
