Always Moving

I had a terrible experience with Always Moving in Rochester, NY. During our move, several pieces of furniture were destroyed, walls and doors were scraped, and several items went missing, including gaming consoles, video games, and two irreplaceable necklaces. On top of that, I personally witnessed the movers allegedly snorting a substance off my dresser, which was appalling behavior. Their conduct was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I wish that we never let them in our home.

These guys are amazing. This is my second time using them: the first one was a 2 bed going into a 3bed, and now it's a 3bed going into a 4 bed. They're so organized, they're super fast so I suggest you have everything ready to go bc once theyve arrived whatever is in a bag, box, or basket is going on the truck. You can tell they've been doing this for awhile and have fun working together. They break everything down for you and put it back up. They do a walk through hallway in between and at the end to go over progress .They really went above and beyond for me honestly, they helped me with things that wasn't necessarily part of the plan like taking heavy trash to the curb and dismounting baby gates for me, they even got creative and took my trampoline. I really appreciate these guys. They honestly have the best rates in town too. I actually tried these other guys who were newbies, to bring some appliances to my house- they were just a teeny bit cheaper than "always moving" and they were black owned but honestly I regretted it immediately after- they took forever and left everything a mess. I would never go anywhere else again.

We hired them to move a piano and they were truly excellent. Punctual, polite and professional. Also very responsive to communication along the way. They offered a very fair price. We will definitely choose them with our next moving project.

Always Moving has moved me MULTIPLE times! I love them and will always use their company for future moves as well. The first time they moved me was out of a rental where my upstairs bathroom ceiling fell into my living room and I had to vacate immediately for repair. Al got me in on a Saturday afternoon asking his guys to put me on the end of the day, making a short Saturday a long full Day for them! Some of my stuff was going to storage and some to families house. They were very helpful understanding and patient while I sorted through everything and helped me pack all mine and my kids things! When we got to my families home, the guys removed a medical bed out of my grandparents spare room and into their basement for storage. The second time they moved me was picking up from storage and my families house into a new place. Everything was placed into the designated rooms for me so I didn't have to swap all my furniture and boxes around myself. I really appreciated this, being a woman with children, this made it so easy for me to unpack and get settled! They also put the medical bed back and put it back together once my property was cleared from the space. My 3rd move with them was about 4 years later (December 2023) into a 3rd floor apartment in winter time. The company was on time, fast and handled my things with care. Even moving some of the furniture around when I changed my mind on placement so I didn't scratch my new hardwood floors! Kurry Ken and Mike are Great! You can definitely tell this is a family owned business by how genuine the workers are, they handle your property like it is their own. My bed wouldn't fit into my new place, Mike disassembled it in the yard in the cold and brought it inside and put the whole thing back together for me! I will forever use this company. HIGHLY recommend!
