From start to finish this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a business. The estimator, my trip coordinator, the driver and both the loading and unloading crews were very professional. All my belongings were handled with care and arrived perfectly. There were no surprises or add ons. I hope to never move again but if I do Cord will be my only call. I would highly recommend!
I have moved cross country now 4x in my life and I’ve done it several ways. I’ve also moved 14 times inside of the cities I was living in, and almost always hired movers. So I’ve met my fair share.This is the second time I’ve used a long haul full service firm and let me just say a. this is the way to go if you’re wanting to use long haul movers. Don’t use a broker. and b. go with Cord North American.I got several quotes, they’re all competitive in terms of pricing, the price by weight so pricing will not be the determining factor, it comes down to who you trust. And they were all fantastic, I likely would’ve gone with any of the four major carriers.But I clicked with the full crew from Jason, the sales coordinator to Gail, the logistics coordinator, to Matt, the driver, and his crew. I liked that North American didn’t have a credit card fee, that they employ everyone who works for them, and that they support Veterans. I also appreciated Jason’s honesty and knowledge of what would and would not work in terms of trucks - this saved me a lot of hassle on moving day. This way we knew they needed a shuttle and Matt came in prepared. And meant there was no surprise charge for it either.Gail called me several times, always friendly and professional. Making sure I knew what to expect and what my responsibilities were. I was never worried about where my stuff was and felt supported the entire time.Matt, the driver, was professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He managed the crew really well, the move out took 4 hours (1100 square feet with two and a half levels), his crew knew exactly what to do and were again all professional and amiable. They handled my items with care, I was never concerned at any point that something would break due to negligence. With the delivery (2200 square feet, 2 levels) it only took two hours. They communicated well, making sure I liked where everything was (especially if it was heavy!) and Matt walked through with me before I left.Everyone along the way was friendly, professional, knowledgeable about their role and responsibility, and clearly cared about their job. They communicated clearly, and made sure I had everything I needed along the way. I never felt lost, in the dark, or deceived.Tho I’ve never had a bad experience with a long haul full service firm, I know others have. Whatever your reason for needing a mover, Cord North American gets my money a recommendation. 10/10 would use again. (and likely will as I still have more states to live in ??)
Cord Moving is wonderful. Cord has the best pricing bar none. The employees are extremely professional and friendly. They took great care in wrapping and packing our furniture. Loading and unloading are done with attention to the furniture not being damaged. They are so good that this is the second time we have used them in three years. I also had the same crew. Now that is happiness with the quality of their work and their continuing commitment to excellence.
Sandy did a great job with the walk through and my estimate. My weight was spot on. Mark and his crew were awesome! I cannot say enough good things about them! They were professional, considerate and kind. Definitely ask for him if he’s available. The billing department was also great.
I had an amazing experience with Cord Moving & Storage. A friend gave me the company contact information, and within minutes of making the initial call, Tim called and got me started. It was a quick and seamless process. The movers showed up on time. The crew of four movers were very courteous and professional. I enjoyed the banter between the guys. They helped make what could have been a very stressful day a breeze. The guys were fast and efficient, finishing my entire move in half the time quoted. In a job that does not necessarily incentivize finishing early, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to move everything. I highly recommend using Cord Moving & Storage for your moving needs!
