Darren was extremely helpful in answering questions. The workers who came to move my things were efficient and courteous. Jay, Andrew, and David picked up furniture, boxes, and plants in Chula Vista. The next day Andrew and David delivered everything to Los Angeles. I was very pleased with the whole moving experience.

From start to finish owner Darren and his team were extremely professional, organized, and extremely easy to work with. Communication leading up to the move was clear and responsive, which made the entire process feel stress-free. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of our belongings with great care. They were respectful of both homes, took the time to properly protect furniture, and stayed positive and professional throughout the entire day. What really stood out was their attitude and attention to detail. Moving can be stressful, but their team made it feel smooth and well managed. They worked hard, stayed organized, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. I have an upcoming move from Utah to San Diego and have been doing my due diligence by getting quotes from several moving companies. I already received estimates from a few companies that specialize in interstate moves, but I also wanted to get a quote from a local San Diego company. San Diego Moving Company had decent reviews, so I submitted a request for a quote through their website. The next day, I received a phone call from Darren. We had a good conversation about the services I was looking for, and he seemed enthusiastic about helping. During the call, he mentioned he could prepare a quote and asked if I could take photos of the items I planned to move and text or email them to him. This felt a bit unusual since other companies conducted virtual walkthroughs, but I agreed. He said he would send his contact information shortly after our call; however, nothing came through. After two days, I followed up and he confirmed his contact information. I then took photos of my items and sent them over. He acknowledged receipt and said he would get back to me. I did not hear back until four days later, when I received an emailed quote that was nearly double the price of the other estimates I had received. Shortly afterward, he texted asking me to call him to discuss the quote. When I called, it went to voicemail. I texted back asking when he would be available, and he replied that he was out of town and would call me back in a few hours. Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up call that day. Overall, I experienced a lack of communication and responsiveness throughout the process. I was hoping to support a local company and expected a more attentive experience, especially compared to the larger interstate movers I contacted.

When our tenant was evicted from our condo, all of his belongings needed to be moved to storage. S.D. Moving came in and had it done in three hours. Amazing! Priceless! It would have taken me days if not weeks. Thank you Darren and his A-Team with Chris, David, Jessie, and Izzy. You made my life a lot simpler.

I'm a 70 old lady, moving my stuff to storage as my landlord is selling the house. I have never worked with a customer service company as great as San Diego Moving Company. Start to finish very professional, very respectful, very nice. I am so glad I called them. Darren and his team are awesome.
