I hired San Jose Movers for my residential move and was extremely pleased. The team was on time, communicated every step clearly, and completed the job efficiently. Top 3 things I loved: 1) Punctuality, 2) Professional and friendly service, 3) Affordable rates. Highly recommend this local moving company.
San Jose Movers did an amazing job with an equipment move that I requested today. They were very responsive and efficient. During the move there were unforeseen changes on my end that caused services to change but they were amazing, accommodating and fairly priced. Will definitely use them again in any future equipment moves.
I have had some good moves and not so good moves and let’s be honest…moving sucks, and the days of a few good buddies helping you move have long since past. So when you find really good movers, you have to comment on it and that is my experience with the San Jose Movers Company. The services were coordinated by Mark, and I was pleased with the team overall. Running point was Aldo, and his crew with Richard and Mateo were excellent. I was moving from a very secure building, so Aldo stayed on top of things with constant contact and we were texting and calling each other back-and-forth even within the same building. I have a longer distance move Being planned in the not-too-distant future and I have already made up my mind that I will be using these gentlemen once again. Highly recommended, and greatly appreciated…thanks again!! :-)
This was our first time hiring professional movers, so we did not know what to expect. My fiancé met with them first and immediately texted me, “I like them” which made me feel relieved since I was the one who picked out this company after calling around to several places.Aldo and his team were very friendly and helpful. They would ask lots of questions which showed me they care about the customer experience. One of my neighbors at my old apartment began chatting with the team and asked for their company card. I made sure to tell my neighbor I highly recommend them for the next time they plan to move!We would definitely go with this company again based off our positive experience.
The guy you'll be dealing with is Mark Cook. He'll set up the arrival of the movers, etc., and he'll be the guy you work with if anything goes wrong. Here's what went wrong for me. First, we agreed on 3 guys at 125.00 per hour. He sent 4 guys at 145.00 per hour. I wasn't present at the time they arrived, so I couldn't send one of them back. By the time I arrived there were one or two guys working in the truck and two guys standing around on the sidewalk, totally inefficient and costly to me.What's really lame is dealing with the loading aftermath, which involved the breakage of my bike stem. It seems that the loaders purposely twisted my bike handlebars 90 degrees relative to the wheel in order to pack it better. Then they loaded the bike upside down at floor level. I'll put in a couple of pics so you can see how stupid this was. Anyway, Mark has made it clear that the company won't help me out by replacing the stem, though it's only around 100.00 on Ebay. He says all they'll pay for is .60 per pound of damaged item, which would cover maybe 3.00 dollars. (I told him the stem weighed 167 pounds, but he didn't get the joke, go figure.)
