Best California Movers - Santa Clara

Update: Customer service contacted me and we were able to work out a fair solution.

5+hrs for 1b move, excluding drive time. Left a lamp on the street from pickup location, and left their equipment at pick up location.

It's not 1 star becuase they actually completed the move w/o breaking things (although almost lost the lamp).

- They showed up in an Uhaul that barely fit everything
- We neatly packed up everything in 20-30 boxes + normal stuff you'd expect from 1b, elevator on both sides.
- One of the guy was clearly a new to this.
- They were dragging the mattress on the ground the entire move, because they didn't have the right tool or they were not strong enough. Luckily I have a very good mattress protector.
- TV was standing behind the carboard box in the 2nd picture, at the outside. TV wasn't broken, but this is so unprofessional.
- We had to go back to pickup location to try to locate the lamp, which luckily we found.

Abdul and Egor - I cannot say enough good things about them! Punctual ( early even)! Polite, efficient and went above and beyond! What a great service when even good service is hard to find! Abdul and Sergii were absolutely incredible today! I have NEVER had a BETTER EXPERIENCE moving than I have with these two movers Abdul & Sergii. I have moved A LOT-I rent in the Bay Area!!! First, Abdul & Sergii arrived promptly @9 am (called me 30 min prior to arrival) & were done unloading @ my storage locker by 11:06am!!!! I’m still in SHOCK w/how fast they were, efficient & knowledgeable. They convinced me I didn’t need a larger storage locker & was able to fit a 2 bedroom condo into a 10x15 Locker!!!! I still can’t believe they fit it ALL..tons of boxes, dresser, desk, 3 chairs, Lg chair/half sleeper, framed pictures w/ one huge framed picture, lamps, exercise bike & 1 planter. I sincerely recommend Best California Movers-Incredible. Moving for me is very stressful & anxiety inducing & the actual move was so fast & easy. Best CA Movers is very reasonably priced and got back to me quickly when I booked and quickly called/texted to remind me of my move. I even changed my move-date back & that was not an issue. When I move out of my storage locker & find an apartment, Best California Movers will be my FIRST CALL!!! Thank You!!!

My experience with this moving company was one of the worst I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise others to stay away. I moved into my home October 27th and had the displeasure of finding this company.

Not only were my belongings handled with complete disregard, but the behavior of the movers themselves was unacceptable and unprofessional on every level.

During the move, the crew made racial jokes, which was deeply offensive and completely inappropriate. No company that sends workers who behave this way should call themselves “professional.”

On top of that, the quality of the move was terrible.
• My glasses were broken
• Several pieces of furniture were damaged or ruined
• Parts of my home were damaged during the move
• Some of my appliances arrived missing parts

Not one piece of furniture was assembled by the movers. I literary have a text from a mover admitting they rushed and a lot was mishandled. For a move that cost over $1,700, the company’s response was insulting. Despite all the damage and disrespect, their only “solution” was to offer just a little over $100 — which doesn’t even begin to cover the losses or the stress caused.

Instead of taking real accountability, they continued to make excuse after excuse, dodging responsibility at every turn. As of today, I still have no real solution, no follow-up, and no professionalism from their end.

This company failed in every category: customer service, professionalism, respect, and basic care for people’s property. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone.

Adilet and his crew were fantastic—on time, efficient, and extremely careful with all my belongings. They handled everything professionally and made the move completely stress-free. Their teamwork and positive attitude stood out. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and respectful movers. Great job all around!
