We hired Orlando based on a recommendation and unfortunately would not use or recommend him again.

The move was significantly underestimated, resulting in an exhausted crew and increasingly careless execution. Tasks we were told would be “no problem” (like disassembly/reassembly) took far longer, and staff openly said they were uncomfortable doing them.

Our $4,200 sofa was dropped off the truck, causing visible damage. While compensation was eventually offered, the response felt dismissive—more “these things happen” than genuine accountability.

Execution was inconsistent: some items were wrapped while identical pieces were not; items marked as “done” were left behind. Despite being assured a final sweep would be done, multiple items—including ones I personally pointed out—were still left at the old house.

Communication was challenging, with only part of the crew speaking English, leading to widespread placement errors despite clear labeling.

We were charged 13.5 hours at $400/hour including the crew’s break time, which management did not remove from billable hours. At this price point, that felt questionable. Comparable white-glove movers charge less and deduct breaks.

Overall, premium pricing without premium care, coordination, or follow-through.

Best Moving company in San Jose, California ! I’ve moved so many times and these guys are top tier, will only move with them now! From scheduling and pricing to the actual day of the move everything was so honest and easy for me. The crew was early and ready to go. By the end of the day I felt like we were all friends. My 3 bedroom home was moved all in a day and everything was placed where I wanted it at my new house in Campbell. Nevarez Moving Company are the only movers I will go with for life! 100 stars ??

Their team was attentive, incredibly detail-oriented, and flexible with scheduling ,accommodating all of our requests and even adjusting when our plans changed last minute. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and handled every item with the utmost care and respect. They listened closely to our directions and followed them perfectly, making sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it.

The movers were professional, friendly, and respectful throughout the entire process, which made what can be a stressful day feel smooth and easy.
