I would never recommend this moving company. The experience was unprofessional and careless. They didn’t bother wrapping my furniture properly—my couch cushions were literally falling off as they carried it and were put into the truck completely unwrapped. The movers also kept complaining about heavy items, which made the whole process feel uncomfortable and unprofessional.

They also caused damage and then tried to hide. They broke a leg off my bed, said nothing, and left the broken leg on the floor under the bed as if I wouldn’t notice. They also dropped a fragile box down the stairs and later insisted they “checked everything” and nothing was broken, which was simply untrue.

Their solution to fixing the bed was even more unacceptable. They sent someone out to put epoxy on a part that had previously been soldered, which didn’t work at all. Now I'm left with a damaged bed, a box of shards of glass that was previously worth hundreds and a terrible overall experience.

The Ideal Move was ideal! They did an outstanding job moving me from upstate New York to Florida. They were prompt, efficient, and best of all, I could always get in touch with someone when I had questions. The price was reasonable, and there were no surprises on my bill after the move. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a moving company. Thanks to Kelly, Miriah and Mark, as well as the two men who came to load my belongings and anyone behind the scenes who helped with my move. I appreciate all of you!

Very impressed with Ideal Move. The movers arrived exactly on time were friendly, careful and quick. They wrapped all my furniture and taped each piece. We did put our furniture in their warehouse to store until our new house is ready.

We have now had this company deliver our furniture from storage a year later and still feel the same about them. Everything was returned in perfect condition and the fellows couldn't have been nicer. They made sure everything was in the right place, putting our 4 poster bed together and putting about 30 shades on a Tiffany lamp.

Once again, I highly recommend this company.

I could not be more pleased with Ideal Move! We were moving from upstate NY to FL. Kelly first came to our house to assess what we had and assured me that we would be in good hands. I needed bars for the 2 wardrobe boxes I had and she told me I could go to the warehouse and get them - no problem. At the warehouse, a gentleman immediately went and got the bars I needed. I also met Miriah, my move coordinator, who was a joy to work with. She was pleasant (funny), accommodating, and efficient. Since I didn't know the exact date I wanted pick up, she was very flexible and made me feel totally comfortable. On the day of pick up, 3 men arrived with a truck - on time - and got right to work. Jake took care of the paperwork - super nice, knowledgeable, and efficient - while Denny and Rock worked to pack and load the truck - never a complaint and always smiling. What impressed me most was when I showed them 4 boxes and said that these boxes are precious (3 sewing machines and a computer), Rock turned to me and said, "To us, all the boxes are precious." I told them that we would not be at our new place for a week and they told me that was no problem. Delivery day was 2 days after we arrived. Rodriguez could not maneuver his large truck in our community without possibly causing damage to some lawns, so he reloaded our items to a smaller truck. When I apologized to him, he pleasantly assured me that was part of the job. He unloaded all items where we wanted them and even offered (and did) put a large heavy box on a high loft in the garage. If you are planning a move and looking for a moving company, look no further. HIRE IDEAL MOVE!! You will NOT regret it!!!

I used The Ideal Move for a small transport of two vintage china cabinets. The cabinets have original curved glass, and I wanted them well-packed and professionally moved. I paid for the requisite four-hour minimum charge. It was well worth it to have the pieces moved safely and efficiently.

The office staff was very helpful and quickly responded to my emails.

The moving guys were terrific - courteous, careful, overall very pleasant to work with.

I highly recommend and will definitely use The Ideal Move in the future. Thank you and keep up the good work, Carol and team!
