My wife and I own a move management company in KC. Part of our job is to coordinate with movers. We have worked with many moving companies in KC. Coleman/Allied in Shawnee is ELITE.

We work with Travis Talley (moving consultant) directly and he is the best. Always professional, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. He genuinely cares and is extremely knowledgeable in the moving world. I feel confident in speaking with Travis and making sure we will get taken care of. He has even stopped by on the load/unload to say hi to ensure things are going accordingly.

Being a former mover, I feel I have a pretty good idea of what to look for in a solid moving company. We have chosen Coleman/Allied for multiple jobs both intrastate and interstate and have always been impressed. They do a great job with: floor protection, padding furniture items, disassembly & reassembly, and loading the trucks correctly. Typically, they move methodically through the residence level by level to ensure nothing is missed. The movers are always professional, respectful, cautious, efficient, and my personal favorite... ZERO complaining.

Greg, Antonio, both Anthony's, Oscar, Trey, Xavier, it really doesn't matter who you receive for movers - they are all excellent. We have trusted and will continue to rely on Coleman/Allied for both intrastate and interstate moves.

I recently did a cross country move and my experience with Coleman Allied was great. I want to point out the excellent service from Travis Talley. I worked with Travis for over a month, and his level of customer service was fantastic. He was consistently responsive across calls, texts, and emails, provided multiple estimate options as my plans changed, and managed to give an accurate quote even without an in-home evaluation.

Travis went above and beyond to coordinate my move around my travel schedule, even arranging to hold my vehicle at their facility so I could personally accept delivery after returning. When an issue arose with the auto carrier refusing to load my car onto an open trailer, Travis immediately stepped in, advocated on my behalf, and had it transported in an enclosed trailer at no extra cost. Later, when the destination crew (from a separate office) rushed the delivery and didn’t allow me to do an inventory, he personally spoke to the driver, escalated the issue, and arranged for another crew to return and complete the job properly.

His professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership made a huge difference. It’s rare to find someone so committed to the customer experience, and because of that, I’ll be using Coleman Allied for any future moves and recommending Travis to family and friends.

I’d also like to recognize the excellent service from the pack/load crew, Greg, Xavier, and Martes, whose care and organization were the best I’ve seen from any moving team. I was genuinely impressed by how securely and neatly everything was packed. Sarah Coleman was also fantastic to work with and very responsive in coordinating and scheduling.

I had an amazing experience with Misael and Antonio from Coleman American during my job-relocation move. They unloaded over 100 boxes, assembled furniture, and somehow kept my new apartment spotless the entire time.

What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared — not just about my belongings, but about making sure I felt settled in. They even helped me plan where to place certain furniture pieces to make the space work better. Their communication was clear, their system was polished (calling out each box number so I could check it off the “Bingo” list), and they worked quickly without ever cutting corners.
