Great people. All of the guys were courteous and professional. They were quick and careful.
I was pleased with their services & the movers was very respectful & careful with my belongings.
The name speaks for itself. This family is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to take care of my moving needs. Ms. Cindy is such an encouraging strong woman of faith and the men who moved me were so nice and just overall amazing, I wanted to be their best friends by the end of it. I hope nothing but the best for this family and I highly recommend their moving services.
I scheduled an appt for Monday morning with owner, Cindy about 2 weeks ago for 8-1-25 @8 am. There was noone here at 8, so I texted Cindy and she was in bed and stated she didn't have our booking. I sent her the confirmation text that she sent plus our information. She then said they were still open to do the job but they had to get supplies and would come, it was 10:30 when they arrived and didn't start right away because there was an issue with them not having wardrobe boxes which we had to pay separately for 18.00. We had to wait for her to bring the boxes, we were told that part could be charged. We then left for my new address, the movers said they would stop for a drink, while 1 of them also wanted to go to the bank..it took almost an hour for them to show. We're not paying for your lunch and that wasn't the issue, it was you charging for half of your lunch time. We received a invoice for $900 for sloppy work and timing. So, we talk to the husband, he gets upset and calls Cindy. She's on speaker and said just take off the boxes, Husband said to other guy to just remove them. We pay for the moving which was still 790.00. She then sends me an invoice for the boxes..??. I sent her the invoice we had which was crossed out on our invoice. She doesn't remember what is told in advance or the appt time but is harassing me about boxes. I will NEVER deal with them again...what Angel hands???? A joke!!!
June 2023 I contracted Angel Hands to move us from North Louisiana to South Louisiana. I really felt confident speaking with Cindy the co-owner. Cindy and her husband Obie are very personal and Godly people. I felt assured they would do a wonderful smooth move for us as it’s stressful enough. She came to the house for a quote and assessed what it would cost to box, pack & load. I had boxed a lot, but she went through the house , covering all rooms, attic from top to bottom/even all pictures etc to give quote. The men arrived at 9:30 6/22. They were unprepared to pack the house and needed to get another trailer. It took them 13 hours to pack & load. They were exhausted and so were we. We scheduled to meet 6/23 after 12 or before 1pm at storage unit in south Louisiana. Unfortunately their trailer broke an axil and arrived 2 1/2 hours over set time. It took them 3 hours to unload into 2 storage units. Cindy or Trish(her assistant), told me to have a cashier check for $2695 & bring cash. I thought I brought enough but was short $741 which they accepted a personal check. All in all the move was over 6K and change. Ok, now moving forward to August 10th, I had 2 Men Movers move contents into our new home. My China, Crystal was put in every which way. My formal mahogany dinning room table was not covered with blankets. They even put that sticky brown tape on one of the leaves. The 4 poster bed didn’t have a box with screws labeled. After finding box, it didn’t have all the screws, but the guys (2Men Movers)managed to use some they had on hand. The quote from Angel Hands was to provide mattresses & box springs covered. Angel Hands used a cheap plastic that shredded when movers moved them. A Queen box spring mattress was supposed to package the attached dust ruffle bc it was too secured to the box spring. There is no dust ruffle on a Queen box spring. Maybe they decided there way was best & I’ll need to find it in a box somewhere. Before closing I’d like to share its unfortunate their truck broke down, they are the nicest people you’ll ever meet , however that doesn’t excuse the condition I found our things. It’s business, there word just didn’t meet my expectations. I would recommend using someone accredited through BBB. The photos is the tape on my formal dinning table.
