I was really taken advantage of by this company last week. I used this company before to move me from my previous address to my new address and the price was $400. I hired this and company 3 years later last week to move the same amount of furniture. Mr. Cummings sent 2 older workers over 55 years old and they moved like slow motion turtles at $120 per hour taking my fee up to $1,100 which should have only been around the same 3-4 hour job at $400-$500. They took advantage of me being a female. They took 8.5 hours to move a three bedroom home.The workers used the bathrooms in my home and left urine and feces in the toilet. They left trash in the yard from where they discarded empty water bottle and etc. Mr. Cummings tried to force me to use a credit or debit card and basically tried to tell me how to pay preferable with a debit card but over the phone he stated I could use cash, debit. No checks. Mr. Cummings then showed up on the scene with guests to do what I’m no exactly sure. I tried to explain how they purposely took their time and he told me just give me my money ma’am. I told him you are the rudest man I ever met and he was lucky I was raised to respect my elders. He’d gotten smart with me multiply times. He then said they should have called him because it should have been a 3 man job. He knew that. I called him earlier that day to complain how slow they were moving and he did NOTHING.I will NEVER use or hire this company again. Single females DO NOT hire this company. Old men over 55 and moving like slow turtles. Which makes Mr. Cummings more money. He’s robbing black single females of their money. He’s NOT a good business man at ALL. That first review is a LIE no he is NOT a good business man he took advantage of me I cried all that day they took my money and left me with nothing to move later.
Best choice of moving companies I could have chosen. Roy and Wade were top notch professionals. Mr Cummings is the kindest man. He will take of things! I went and got my safety inspection sticker today and got the chance to chit chat with Mr. Cummings....he's is a very nice man with wonderful family values....had a wonderful experience....I will recommend and return for future stickers??

We had looked at numerous other moving services when we relocated from Shreveport to Bossier City, Louisiana. Cummings' hourly charge was the lowest of all those we considered, half as much as some in fact. The two-man crew showed up promptly at the promised time, got down to business immediately, and worked well independently as well as team lifting when needed. They always asked when uncertain about placement, used adequate blanketing on fragile pieces, and occasionally moved items around when we suggested changes, with no grumbling or complaints. The owner had estimated the move would require 3 to 5 hours; it took exactly three. All in all a very economical and gratifying experience, not to mention the peace of mind we felt when thinking of the care taken with our belongings & the money we saved using a local mover. Highly recommended.
