I had a good experience with this moving company. I just needed an oversized hutch moved from a business in downtown Sioux City to my house outside Pender, NE. The crew of three were quick, efficient, and professional. The job came in under the initial quote estimate. I will use this company again if I need to move furniture! Stephanie worked with me on the phone. I think Mikey, Clay, and Derrick (I may be misremembering their names) were the moving crew.

We used Action Moving for two separate moves. One local move to store a piano and another long-distance move over 500 miles across state lines. Micah and his crew were professional from start to finish. They arrived on time for both pickup and delivery, handled our belongings with great care, and worked efficiently throughout the process. We contracted with Action Moving & Storage in Dec. 2025 to move my mother-in-law from her apartment in Sioux City to a senior assisted living center in West Union, Iowa; with a Length of Haul (LoH) of 275 miles. There were several pieces of heavy antique furniture, boxes of crystal and many other items that required special care and attention. Action Moving did a SUPERB job with carefully wrapping of those items (see pics), then great care in loading their truck, culminating in successful on-time delivery/unloading at the destination. Their workers were professional and courteous, and did not leave until they made sure we were satisfied with the placement of furniture at the destination.

In addition to the great service from the moving crew, the office staff was also exceptional. They made clear all costs up front with a detailed quote, and ensured that all questions about their moving process were answered to our satisfaction well before the move-date.

We will certainly be calling Action Moving again for our moving needs.
