Reviews indicate a mix of positive experiences with careful packing and on-time long-distance deliveries, alongside concerns about estimate accuracy and communication during complex moves. Several customers praised crews for professionalism and meeting timelines despite weather or equipment issues. Others reported pricing disputes or items missed during storage-to-delivery transitions. Overall sentiment reflects solid capability with room for clearer expectations and follow-through.
Kevin, the estimator, was fantastic — but unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. When the crew first arrived, they immediately began complaining to each other that we “weren’t ready,” even though we were. They did an acceptable job while we were present, but the issues became apparent once our items were placed into their storage facility. When our belongings were delivered, the driver informed us that the TVs had never been boxed, despite the crew assuring us they would handle that. He even refused to unload them at first because they had no proper protection. Several items arrived with scratches from being dragged, one of the TVs was dropped and damaged, and our lawn mower was also damaged.Considering the amount of money we paid for a cross-country move, we expected much better care of our belongings. We’re still in the process of unpacking to assess the full extent of the damage. We will be filing a claim once everything is opened, and we understand we have nine (9) months to do so.Vehicle transportation was excellent! Delivery driver with our items was amazing!(Reno, NV to Albany, NY)
Kirk and his crews were great at both ends of the trip. He made it across in record time even with truck issues. He really focused on meeting my needs. Would use again.
While the outcome of the move was successful it was not without much drama. First, they underbid my pack out by almost 40%. They attempted to put the onus of their mistake on me by corersing me to pay the difference, even after I called out that per their Total Price Guarantee stated that only items I added after signing the bill of lading would be an additional cost. I ultimately just ignored their request to agree to the additional costs, and they dropped it. Second, they totally hosed the delivery by not planning ahead of time for a shuttle because they couldn't get the truck to the delivery address. This caused much drama and some delay in delivery. So while my belongings made it to the destination, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for movers.
Very professional. The movers had to pick up after a snow storm in Reno, and everything arrived across the country safely. I would absolutely recommend the team of movers that helped us. We have moved cross country a few times and this was our first experience hiring movers and it’s absolutely worth it. It probably costs more in time, hassle, and money to do it yourself. Hire movers, and hire them.
The initial packers were good. Most items were packed good. So far we have only found one broken item. Movers from house to warehouse was good as well. The delivery to Seattle, WA got delayed and on the delivery day there were only two people moving boxes and furniture. So assembly of furniture was rushed a little. No damaged furniture so far. We still have unpack. Overall very good service.
