These guys are absolutely fabulous. The only company out of 7 that actually called me instead of Facebook messages and texts. They were fast, on time, Chris is crazy strong in addition to being personable and professional. The rates were affordable and reasonable. I had Chris and Ethan from Rocky Island movers help me with my move today. You have a move coming soon,well this is going to be the easiest decision of your day and you won't regret it. These fellas know what they are doing, and in my case, they took care of my stuff like it was theirs. They were also careful of both properties moving out and then back in. They didn't ding a wall even once. They were so fast and good at their job that it saved me money and my concern for damage for not only my stuff, but my new house and the past landlord was so not needed once I saw those guys work. Look,check around,but ya gotta co.e to here because they are the best,not even exaggerating. One more thing I just noticed. 46 reviews and only one bad on review in all of that. Communication from the beginning was excellent. When I called to schedule a date, the owner was attentive and gave a more than reasonable quote. They moved a three bedroom house for what I would consider to be a great value.The moving team showed up 10 minutes early ready to go. They moved quickly, and even with some of my very large and bulky items, the entire move from the time they arrived until the time that they unloaded at my new residence, was 4.5 hours. Keep in mind that I have a 300-lb grandfather clock and solid oak furniture that is incredibly heavy.This was my second experience with a moving company in St. John’s, and this is by far the better experience. The other movers that I have used did the job and I do not have anything negative to share. I just found that Rocky Isand Movers was by far the more positive experience that I had. I will be definitely contacting them first if I ever need moving services again.
Friendly, efficient, affordable and super easy to deal with! 10/10 service, they made my move easy and so much quicker than I thought. They were careful with our items and made moving into a very oddly shaped apartment so easy, I would have been lost without them. I really can't say enough about the amazing service I received today!
