We rented their plastic storage boxes while we redid our floors, we had to empty all of our shelves, dressers etc. Ian on the phone was really friendly and helpful answering our questions and helping us get scheduled. The boxes were delivered really clean and on time, when we were done I just gave Ian a call and he had someone out to pick them up the next day! He went above and beyond making a stressful remodel a little less stressful, I really recommend using this company for your packing or moving needs.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel strongly that others need to be warned.I hired Smart Move Moving & Storage for a residential move in November 2025. I specifically asked the mover to place my 55” Samsung Frame TV in my personal vehicle so I could transport it safely myself. The mover refused and assured me it would be fine if wrapped and transported in the truck. Relying on that professional assurance, I allowed them to proceed.The TV was damaged during the move. No other items were damaged.What is most disappointing is not the accident — things happen — but the company’s refusal to take responsibility afterward. Rather than standing behind their crew’s handling decision, the company hid behind contract language and then stopped responding altogether, forcing me to pursue the matter through consumer protection agencies.I owned a business for many years, and when mistakes happened, I stood by them and made things right. Customers were never left without a resolution because of something I did. That level of accountability is completely missing here.Based on my experience, I do not recommend using this company, especially if you have high-value or fragile items. If something goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their work.***In response to Smart Move Moving & Storage, I asked that the television be placed in my personal vehicle. The mover said no and insisted it would be wrapped and fine in their truck. I was never informed that TV boxes were available for purchase, nor did I decline one.The television was working prior to the move and was damaged while under the company’s control. My concern has always been about handling and care, not fine-print insurance language.For clarity, this matter has not been resolved with the BBB or any consumer agency, despite how the company’s response may read. I stand by my review.
We had the best experience with Smart Move Moving and Storage! Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Want to thank Ian with booking and setting everything up. He answered all my questions and sent out a quote right away. He assigned us Sal and Rico for the move, who were the best. They were timely, efficient and were able to fit everything in the unit size we wanted. They wrapped and handled all our furniture with care. Not only were they able to stay in time frame they quoted they also made us laugh during a very stressful time. Can't thank you both enough and hope to see you both again when our home is move in ready.Michelle & Monique
Great experience with Smart Move! Sal, James and Slav were timely, efficient, and handled our items with care. They managed to fit everything into our storage unit with room to spare. This is the second time we've used this company and won't be our last!
