I have moved 7 times in the last 6 years, and I easily had the best / most stress free moving experience this weekend with Swift Moves. Peter and Kenny were AMAZING!!! They were communicative, professional and so friendly. I really appreciated that they showed up on time, moved everything so efficiently and took great care of all of my belongings. I was working on a tighter schedule and they worked very hard to make sure my move was done as quickly as possible. Once again, this was the best moving experience I have ever had!!! I was in a bind and needed a piece of furniture moved the next day, and within a specific window of time. I also needed someone who is fully insured (More than what is generally needed due to the place it was being delivered).I just had to explain what was happening, and Swift Moves took care of everything else. Reasonably priced. They were timely, friendly and competent. I would highly recommend!
We needed to move our house that has furniture and other items that have both monetary and sentimental value. I have never had a good experience with movers but read Swift Moves reviews and decided to call them. My contact person was Peter who’s one of the most professional and kind people I have ever dealt with. He took the time to answer my numerous questions and gave me a very accurate estimate over the phone.Our moving team led by Cedric was on time. Cedric kept us informed during the moving process. He continued to update us on the time that was being spent on each part of our move. Rony and Marquel were the other members of the crew. All are neatly dressed and respectful. They are very careful packing your belongings yet don’t waste time.We need to give a special mention for Rony who should teach a master class on packing. He packed a leather sofa that we were certain would probably get scratched. It was protected so well that it received no damage.Our experience with Swift Moves was so great that I have given their contact information to our Realtor for her other clients.
Swift moved me from Palmetto to Sarasota and I was thrilled with their "Swift" service. They were professional, friendly and oh so speedy. They took my furniture apart, wrapped it, loaded it and drove to my destination. Then put everything where I wanted it, plus reassembled it all in a little over four hours! I was so pleased I gave the two hard workers a generous tip which they were extremely thankful for. Note: I was sure I did not want my inexpensive furniture wrapped, but when the man demonstrated how quickly it is done and the benefits of keeping my furniture clean and damage-free I was sold! This was my first time using movers and the price seemed high to me (from ALL of the estimates), but it is so worth it if you choose the right company. Just be sure they are insured and stand by their estimate. But remember it is an estimate based on you having everything packed up correctly and ready to go. Otherwise the price will go up since they do charge by the hour. I did so and they were right on the estimate. Thanks Swift Moves for a job well done!
I’m an experienced mover, I have moved cross country twice, and I moved houses every two years and I can’t recommend this company. 3 men arrived at my house on time but they were slow and used an absurd amount of packing materials. I didn’t have the mattress protector so I have to throw away my original mattress encasing and my dinner table suffered from scratches. The unloading was messy like if they were inexperienced into just grouping things, which can explain why my table was scratched that badly. The attitude was neutral and communication felt a little force, you know when you feel that employees are making you a favor and not being paid for the favor? Well, something like that. It was a big move but on the phone the customer service is completely different compared to the outcome you would expect. Remember, even though you can feel bad for the amount of time an energy these employees would spend in moving your stuff, you are actually paying for it. $2200 with packing, $300 just for materials . Use another company, and pack yourself or else just brake your kitchenware and buy all new its cheaper. My recommendation is just lease a Uhaul box and two everything in it, but don’t do packing service is a waste of money at its finest.
