Papani and Alfer were super helpful! They were really fast loading, unloading, and helped me pack of some of my remaining things. Alfer was a great planner and they got me moved to my new place in a breeze
We just completed a move from Port Orchard to Renton and had a really bad experience with this company.1. They didn't send enough movers for us.We had described in great detail our house and contents during the quoting process, however on moving day when the movers arrived - they informed us that the quoters had underestimated our move and didn't send enough guys (there were 3 guys sent) to complete the move in 8 hours. I asked if there was any extra cost or any solution to help us move all our stuff, but they were unable to provide any solutions for us.2. They couldn't move even half our stuff. (picture attached)We didn't even have too much stuff. Leaving more than half of our boxes and things behind - the truck was still mostly empty. I think they only spent about 2 hours loading and said their time was up for loading up before they had to start driving.3. They switched the moving company base location, and billed us for the extra drive time. We originally booked this with the Bremerton / Port Orchard Ecomovers location. The original quote took into account the drive time from their company to our house. However, on moving day they switched to a far away south Tacoma location without informing us, and BILLED us for the longer drive time from Tacoma to Port Orchard - eating into their 8 hour limit. This is in addition to the drive time they would already bill to go between the two houses, and the drive time to go back to their base. This part felt the most like a scam, especially since we didn't have a say.Overall:I could say more - but overall, only half our stuff was moved so we needed to get another moving arrangement in the end, making us feel like this whole experience was a waste of time and money. The company should have offered a solution to get us fully moved, they shouldn't have billed us for the extra drive time to and from Tacoma due to the location switch (or even if they did - they should have added more guys to help account for the extra time lost driving and use that time towards moving all our stuff!)They did offer a $99 refund due to our "dissatisfaction" but frankly that's a drop in the bucket compared to what we paid, and we just needed our stuff moved - we didn't need $99 back.
We had a great experience with Eco Movers. Netzer, Cruz, and Catalina were right on time and got to work right away. They were very careful and cautious with our stuff but moved quickly. The whole Eco Movers team was very communicative and helpful through the whole process.
