Great service, fast and consistent communication from beginning to end. Danny and Jimmy arrived on time, were both professional, and dealt with moving an oversized water heater out of the attic, while being very cautious not to cause any damage to the attic door or stairs. Also thank you Beth for the coordination and accommodating our schedule. I greatly appreciate the service and would use them again in the future if needed.
I was closing on my husband at 10am the next day another company at the last minute said they wouldn’t be able to come to pick up the junk in my garage. I was just going down the list calling companies. I ended up calling the same one twice and didn’t realize until the person said “Mrs. Akeia I just spoke to you “. I was like Peter?! He said yes…it was funny in the moment because I was really stressed.I recognized his voice and he recognized mine. I had already spoken to Pete just a few minutes earlier with him telling me College Hunks were all booked for the day and it would not be until the next day between 8-10am. Well Peter said you must really need the help so let me escalate it to a supervisor to see if they can help you tonight. You will be getting a call from the local branch. I get a call from Jimmy who was so nice. He had me send him a picture of what I needed picked up. It really wasn’t much but included a washer and dryer with a few minor other things. Jimmy said he would be there in an hour because what I had didn’t require more than one person. He was at my house within the hour and had everything loaded on the truck asap. I even helped him because I felt like he was doing an a favor coming out after dark so it was only right for me to help. Jimmy was the best!! He also explained dispatch is a central center with operator all over the nation so likelihood of me getting Peter twice within minutes was few and far in between. I told him it must have been divine intervention. Thank God! Jimmy was nice wished me safe travels on the highway, good luck with my closing and success at our new location. All that to say if you need any of the services they provide try them out. But I can speak for junk removal College HUNKS are 10/10
Jimmy and Danny were absolutely wonderful to work with for moving this antique China cabinet. They were so easy to coordinate moving times, and kept me updated with pick up and drop off time estimates leading up to the move. Once they arrived they moved the piece with ease and made sure I was happy with the placement of the piece. I would recommend them to anyone looking for moving services!
College Hunks made my first out-of-state moving experience amazing! I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants peace of mind while moving. Beth is an amazing woman who went over the top to assist me throughout the entire process. Jimmy held consistent communication with me during the travel and I never worried about my belongings because of the people at College Hunks. I highly recommend asking for Danny, Zach, and Bobby to assist you in this stressful experience that of which is moving. They are all great, hardworking guys and made the entire experience seamless and worry-free. Truly, I would ask for their assistance in moving again even though I no longer live in Tallahassee. Thank you Jimmy for bringing Bobby and Bryson to help turn my former guest room into my dream sewing room. Bobby and Bryson made quick work of moving my sewing/quilting table and storage cabinet.All three were polite and professional and efficient.
