I had a wonderful experience with this moving company, and Billy and Anthony did an amazing job. They were extremely professional, patient, and respectful of my belongings. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly while still working quickly and efficiently. I honestly thought I didn’t have enough space, but they packed everything perfectly and made it all work. They secured my items so carefully and made the whole process feel STRESS FREE. I also really liked that they are a Christian based company, and you can truly see that reflected in how they treat their customers. I truly appreciated their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers. God Bless!
5 1/2 hours to do a two hour job, the truck was too small so I have to move more things myself and they charged for an extra hour of travel time that should have been half of that and 40 buck for a card fee. This company is a ripoff. There are several outright falsehoods in what you replied. You sent 2 men we did not choose 2. Your estimate was for 3 men 2 hours and you sent 2 men and a truck that was too small. Your movers evenstated that the moving was taking too long due to the truck Being too small and having to pack extra carefully. 2 you charged my card before ever sending the brakedown. And 3 you were told there was a set of stairs at each location for estimate purposes. Everything was packed and ready and only a bed and futon for large items.
The team moved my items safely and carefully. The manager stayed in contact with me throughout the entire move and made sure everything went smoothly. They did an amazing job, and I will definitely choose them again in the future
From the initial contact with Billy I felt that I was the number one priority, and through my process to figure out my plan he stayed with me patiently until we came to a final agreement. First impression is key to the representation of the service you provide. The guys were absolutely amazing. It made all the difference in how I managed to organize everything. I have referred you to my landlord.
THEY ARE INEXPERIENCED MOVERS! THEY NEED TRAINING! PLEASE FIND YOURSELF AN EXPERIENCED AND REPUTABLE COMPANY!! Being movers takes a certain amount of skill and the crew does not have it. I had a one bedroom apartment, that didn't have a couch or dining room furniture or appliances to be moved and it took them 6 hours to complete the move. There were only six steps at the first apartment and there is an elevator at the second location that also had a flatbed and shopping carts to help them move the items inside. They are inexperienced and extremely slow! Very, VERY slow!! I hired three people to help expedite the situation and all I did was pay $240 an hour for three people who are inexperienced. They we're scheduled to arrive between 10:00 am and noon. My family member was at the one bedroom apartment and he said they were moving slow. When they arrived at my new place, they had been downstairs for so long that my friend offered to go and see what they were doing. She offered because I need surgery and currently cannot put weight on my left foot and I have to use a wheelchair, or a knee scooter, to get around. She observed them STANDING around just TALKING! And they were confronted me about her observing them! Can you believe that! They were all offended and one of the workers said "don't we deserve a break?" The answer is yes, as long as I'm NOT paying for it; or NO if I am paying for it. And here is another reason why they are inexperienced: if you are going to work past the lunch hour, then let the client know you need to take a lunch break and NOT charge the client. This is something that should have been established by their boss and I shared that with him. Instead, they overcharged me by at least 2 hours! The estimate I got was nowhere near what I was charged and then I had to bicker with Billy, the boss, over a half an hour charge. My sister moved an entire house, with a different company, and she said it took them less than 3 hours to move an entire house! I had a one bedroom that did not have huge pieces of furniture to be moved or appliances! Most of the things were in a tote and when I asked the young man to place them in the second bedroom he graciously let me know that he will put them wherever I wanted them to go, but I would be charged for it! I am saddened that I did not do more investigation because I see that other people have reported that they were overcharged because of the same reason - being slow and STANDING around TALKING! Had I known this beforehand I would have gone with another company. My friend offered to videotape them, but she had it on camera instead. I do so wish I had some video tape to display of them standing around and doing nothing but talking. The only reason why they're getting 1 star is because that's the lowest rating that Google will allow. I kept saying to their boss that I didn't understand why it was taking so long with three people. I spoke to him several times during the move, that is also unheard of; if I have to talk to him that many times that means something is going wrong! I shared all this with their boss (Billy) and he didn't seem to appreciate my concerns. He is known for responding to these comments and I am certain that he's going to try to find a way to blame this customer. But you cannot blame the customer when you have inexperienced people working for the company. My advice to you is to go with a more experienced and reputable company. Maybe in about 5 to 7 years they will have more experience and and be worthy of the job. However, until then, you are paying for people who will milk the clock and get all they can out of you. I still say to the boss, if your people need to take a break, let them take one but NOT at the expense of the customer. At the end of the day, they were extremely slow, extremely inexperienced, and it should not have taken three people 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment! Especially when that one bedroom apartment did not have a stove, a refrigerator, a couch, a loveseat or a dining room table with chairs, to move!
