Booking with Ali was super easy, he was really responsive and helpful, and the price was better than other companies in the area that I looked into.The movers showed up within the time frame given, worked quickly (but carefully), and were friendly the whole time. Before they left, they checked multiple times to make sure everything was exactly where I wanted it, which I really appreciated.Overall, it was such a smooth and stress-free move. I recently hired This Side Up Moving Company to help me move a treadmill down into my basement. It was 300+ lbs and was impossible for me to move. They were able to come same day and it only took them 5 minutes. They were very reasonable and accommodating. I would use them again for moving help!
Do NOT use Side Up Moving Company in Dearborn. I requested two movers and their largest truck, but the owner, Ali, threatened me when I refused to pay more than the agreed price. He even said he would physically harm me. The experience was completely unprofessional, and I also experienced racist behavior. Avoid this company at all costs.
Ali and the two men that worked on his team were absolutely amazing! They all worked so well together and did a speedy and very thorough job. They take great care in wrapping and loading your items, to keep them protected from becoming damaged in transit. There is no task too difficult for them. I thought for sure I'd have to disassemble my giant, oddly shaped, cat tower so it wouldn't take up so much space on the truck or break, but they said Nope and wrapped it right up and it arrived in purrfect condition!My favorite part about This Side Up Moving Company is that right from the get go, Ali treats you like family. He knows how stressful moving is and you can feel that he genuinely cares for his customers. His comforting words really resonated with me when he says, "Don't worry. I got you!" He means it and he follows through to make sure you are completely satisfied. Great people...Great company...Great job!
