Turner Moving Company was incredible to work with. At every point in the process we were met with friendly and knowledgeable staff who explained the process and and answered our questions. i cant say enough about the moving crew, they were so courteous and hardworking. They checked in to make sure we were happy with the furniture placement and even offered a couple placement recommendations. Moving is extremely stressful and they eased our fears. I am sitting in my new home this morning feeling so happy with how well the move went. Thank you Turner Moving Co and staff.
Had used Turner Moving twice in the past and was VERY satisfied with the process. This time was WAY different and exceedingly disappointing. The estimator MISSED the necessary space to load our personal goods by approximately 50% (almost 6000 cubic feet according to the movers working day of) causing us to have to donate quite a bit of items (beds, wine refrigerator, bicycles, chairs etc). The movers were amazing though and stayed out, in the rain, attempting to get as much loaded as possible.ADVICE: do not get ANY estimate without one of the loaders involved in seeing the personal goods (it created an approximately additional 35% expense). The actual movers knew withing 10 minutes of walking the property that they were NOT going to be able to load everything.UPDATE (FROM COMPANY RESPONSE) FOR FULL CLARITY: The "overall" comment is inherently incorrect (and disappointing) as it fails to recognize the significant additional expense of having to make other arrangements from the missed estimate as well as the fact there was a completely empty Turner moving truck onsite and Turner did not offer to take the furniture which was not able to be loaded temporarily until other arrangements could be made the next day due to their error.
Turner was excellent every step of the way. We used them as a receiving dock for an out of town project then they did a 3 day move for us delivering all the pieces and assembling and placing furniture. Their movers were so hard-working, fun to work with, kind, positive, efficient, and supported us in a very large project. The receiving dock was very detailed and diligent in marking any damage and making required returns to make sure we had high quality and damage-free furniture on move-in day. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Napa / Bay Area!
Just had Brandon and his crew ( Juan,Santiago, & Fernandes ) move us locally across town and they they did a stellar job. They all were very professional, efficient and had excellent customer service. Would highly recommend Turner Moving and will spread the word. Also, want to include the office staff ( Amanda & Shalyn ) who were very accommodating, pleasant and efficient.Thank you all
