Very poor recent experience with 2 small men. After spending $10,000 moving from Alberta to BC In June 2025, I was relocated for work again in Jan 2026. My experience in 2025 was good, quoted price is what was charged, although I was ghosted when they broke my antique bed. I decided to use them again due to the price predictability and being the cheapest of the 2 other quotes. In Jan 2026, I was charged 58% more than quoted price. Movers threatened to not unload my stuff if I did not pay the $7700 vs $4850 quote. I paid, and was told they would take care of the difference. In the end, only $750 was refunded to me. No cost breakdown. No further contact. I am now going to be claiming the difference via the B.C. CRT in small claims.Long story short, quoted me a fixed price up to 6000 lb and $X per pound overage, but invoiced me on a per lb basis and threatened to not offload my stuff. Gave me an arbitrary refund of $750 when over $2000 was owed back. Now going through small claims after giving ample opportunity to do the right thing. Stay far away.
A great choice for or move. Moving provinces for our daughter went off without a hitch, on time, on budget with professionalism and courtesy. Best price of all that I contacted and the crew and driver were excellent. Highly recommend this mover.
Great move! Guys were friendly and super helpful. Lost a bag of bedding in the chaos, but they found it under some packing material and brought it right away! Second time using these guys and would highly recommend them!
Where do I begin?! We had an amazing experience with this company right from the start! Derek and David were very professional, patient, well-spoken, clear and thorough on the phone, educating and arranging appointments with me. We had two points of loading two trucks meeting at one spot to re-load onto a sea can on the side of a mountain on Vancouver Island! This was a difficult move to say the least. My team, consisting of Paul, Terrance and Himanshu, were quiet, swift and considerate of the doorways, walls and floors. Paul packed the truck with so much professionalism and care! I was amazed with his Tetris skills!!! They finished at the estimated time and drove up to the second meeting spot without a problem to re-load onto a sea-can. Together with the second team, they waited patiently for the sea-can to be loaded onto a flat-bed truck and then re-loaded the sea-can first with the shop load, so that it was last off and then with the household goods. I was again amazed at the care and professionalism of which they took to pack sensitive and awkward items with such skill! The sea can was packed from top to bottom, back to front without a few inches to spare! The accumulation of things from two persons lives (at 60 years of age) were fit perfectly into a 40' sea can like a glove!! Thank you to all of your team at Two Burley Men Moving Ltd. I love you so much for all your efforts!! We have been unpacking for almost two weeks now and haven't found one broken or mangle item. Everyone unloading just couldn't believe the professionalism with which our sea can was packed! You sure do have an amazing team and I can't express how much Wilfred and I appreciate the time and energy you gave us to take such care. We feel the love!!!
I've always dreaded moves. So was expecting the same. It came as a wonderful surprise to have three guys care just as much as you do when handling everything from a light box to a heavy bedroom set. Rodger, Abishek and Scott worked nine hard hours with smiles. Just awesome customer service. Wouldn't hesitate one second to hire them again.
