Horrific moving experience — dishonest, unsafe, and deeply unprofessional.
I hired KM North Moving through iMoving, who promised a “white glove, full-service” experience. What I actually got was chaos, deception, and property damage.
The crew arrived unprepared and without the specialized boxes and materials I paid extra for — no wardrobe boxes, TV boxes, or bubble wrap. They used my own towels, blankets, and supplies to wrap fragile items. My furniture and glass tables were carelessly packed, several pieces were damaged, and basic safety standards were ignored.
Worse, the movers smoked cigarettes and marijuana on my property, refused to pack certain items included in my contract, and mocked me for expecting the “white glove” service I paid for. They left the job unfinished, my home in disarray, and yelled at me until I signed off just to make them leave.
When they delivered to my new home, they parked illegally, hit part of the building, and argued loudly with neighbors. Afterward, the owner continued to call and text me and my sister for days — to the point that I felt unsafe.
This move caused financial loss, property damage, and emotional distress. I had to pay for additional labor, cleanup, and repairs after they left. Despite their promises, I cannot find evidence that KM North Moving is licensed or insured.
Do not hire this company.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unfit to handle people’s belongings or enter their homes. I strongly urge others to verify all credentials and avoid this nightmare.

KM moving service exceeded my expectations! I used them twice in the last 3 months for my moves and both time I was greeted with a friendly, quick and efficient booking process, the second move they even fit my in within a weeks notice. They are the perfect mixture of having your brother/cousins move you + a super professional service. Even things I said oh don’t worry about wrapping that, they insisted and took such good care of all my things. Pricing was much less than other places I had called too. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a movers!

Kevin, Malik and Raymond unloaded our jam-packed 26ft U-Haul efficiently, professionally and thoughtfully in three hours for a generously reasonable price. They were considerate of our family possessions and took care in handling and stacking; several times protecting the items in a far superior manner than did our packers. Kevin was easy and kind to work with. They showed up on time and worked hard the entire time. They each are strong and capable and I trusted them with our family items. I would definitely use them again.

I highly recommend KM North Moving. Kevin Pettis and his team were professional, yet appropriately driven to do an excellent, thorough, timely service. When I had questions, he had thorough answers while being sociably respectful in making any adjustments for us.
Having been involved in several moves, I have never seen a company wrap furniture so well as quick. Even the packing of everything in the truck was well thought out to protect all the items. When placing furniture in the new location, he and his team were courteous and accommodating. Yes, I would use KM North again.

One of the owners of KM North Moving Services is Mr. Kevin Pettis. He came on-site for our move so we observed him in action. He's a pro...always calm...managed a skilled team. They made a stressful residential-pack-and-load scenario flow smoothly and worry-free. And fast; we couldn't keep up with them. Happy to refer anyone to KMN and Kevin Pettis, no matter what you're moving or how many rooms. I know they do commercial moves too.
