AK movers helped me move my two bedroom apartment in Washington DC to a two bedroom apartment in NYC. Three movers including the owner came to pack up my apartment, which completed with exceptional efficiency and made our move out seamless. The movers drove all our stuff to NYC and arrived promptly, and completed the move in/set up quickly and efficiently. They have completed a few moves for me and my family, have always been quick, efficient and very professional at an excellent price point. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t have asked for a better move. Art and his team came in and had our placed wrapped up and ready to go better than we did lol. They helped us pack up some extra items and then we were on our way to the new place. They got all our furniture in exactly where we wanted and even replaced our decorative pillows lol. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for your next move.

We recently used AK Movers for our move in Georgetown and honestly could not have asked for a smoother experience. The movers were friendly, careful, and knew exactly how to handle the challenges of moving in DC. They navigated tight hallways, parking issues, and heavy furniture without any problems. Nothing was damaged, everything arrived on time, and the whole team was easy to work with from beginning to end. After dealing with stressful moves in the past, this was a huge relief. Definitely recommend AK Movers to anyone looking for movers in Georgetown or the DC area.

AK Movers did a full-service pack & move our single-family home for our family from Ashburn, VA, to Ashburn, VA, and did a great job. Nothing was broken, they worked at lightning speed and were true professionals. They even hauled away junk for us, at a reasonable fee! They disassembled & reassembled beds & furniture too. This was our second time using them, as the first time was a 2017 move from an apartment to another apartment within Fairfax, VA. We highly recommend them and if we ever move again, our family will use them!

Art, his son and another mover helped us move from our DC apartment to a home in VA. They were incredibly prompt and efficient. They also went the extra mile to take care of our furniture- wrapping items in moving blankets, and staking efficiently. And whenever I emailed Art, he was responding within the hour no matter the time. AK Movers has been in business for over 20 years, and it's clear to see why this business has been so successful - they tare of their clients.

Art and his team were excellent! Art communicated very well from the beginning and followed through with us. His truck was on time picking up our freight from the terminal to deliver it to DC. It wasn’t a normal piece of freight and their team got it inside and helped our crew get it to the location we needed. His team is professional and I would recommend them to anyone looking for help moving freight.

The movers were so professional and handled my furniture and belongings with excellent care. I highly recommend AK Movers for anyone needing a professional moving company in the DC area.
